Bad mistake in my opinion to drop Gollini, certainly should not be sold. I don't think he has done much wrong after his initial errors. And even experienced and good keepers make errors. Some of Bruce's decisions i do not understand.

They really should have been booked for that. Quite disgraceful, really. I perhaps have different standards, and I know that sportsmanship is an old-fashioned idea, and plays no part in the modern game, but this sort of thing needs action by referees/authorities.

There is no teamwork with our guys. I am hoping that that a couple of good midfielders might pull them together. If not that, Bruce might have to consider not tinkering with the line up every game.

Perhaps we should try to get Sackho in - two games now he has destroyed Amavi.

Jansson must have thought he did a great job to put Grealish out of the game. Didn't work though like that though - McCormack is a much more effective player than Grealish.

The club has made a habit of giving out long contracts to undeserving players. I had hoped that under Xia's stewardship that might have stopped. Even a 2 year contract to get a fee for him from a League 1 club I might have understood, but there is no way, to my mind, that Gardner will ever justify the new contract.

We should not underestimate any team in this division. It has proven to be much tougher than I anticipated.

He has done well so far, and seems a really pleasant, decent guy, but I have been, and will remain, doubtful about how he will do in the Premier League. Don't get me wrong, I would love it if he could take us close to the top of the Premier League. I just have my doubts. If he gets us out of this league at the first attempt, he will have done everything that we could have hoped for, and that is good enough for me.

The signings in this window will determine his future. If we do not get promoted, it will depend on how well he does as to whether he remains for next season in my opinion.

That was a well deserved win. They may have had the possession stats, but our shots on goal was the real indicator. It would have been criminal if we had not won. And we had a penalty saved. A poor team performance, but some good individual performances. Those being from Kodjia, Baker and Chester.
