  1. Most of us accept there will be difference in taste. i did not like the result of the Purslow badge but at least it was professionally done (by the agency Dragon Rouge) and I was accepting of it. The problem many of us had with the original Lerner badge and now the Heck badge is they clearly have design flaws that leads one to believe they were not professionally done (probably dictated to an in house graphic designer instead - who would likely not have a comprehensive background in branding or merchandising). That is utter incompetence for a badge that will projected across the globe and on thousands of pieces of merchandise. one other note - Ive seen some utter nonsense online by defenders of Heck that this logo was designed with the Asian audiences in mind, etc. - thus the golden lion…I am on several Asian Villa chat groups and the leaked logo has been universally panned in those groups.
  2. Worrying if this is the badge. No way a proper design firm would come up with this. Would mean it was put together by Heck and Co - a sign of utter incompetence.
  3. My family is coming over from California and I have hospitality for Sheffield United and Burnley matches and I was surprised how easy it was to secure. I did reserve it 3-4 months in advance - so both our experiences could be true.
  4. I like the 150 mark. It's something different and looks traditional. I am guessing it will share the kit with the new badge, thus you need it to be something complimentary.
  5. My guess is that the hospitality packages (beyond the TV and LG) are not quite selling as they had hoped and stadium expansion only really makes FINANCIAL sense if you can bring in big time hospitality dollars.
  6. Moreno has looked lively but in reality is playing poorly. Cash offers little as a wingback. Hope to see Bailey in soon.
  7. This is how Cameron Archer comes across at Sheffield United - a step slow and lacking physicality. Premier League is a different level.
  8. Both Eze and Olise came from weak Championship sides
  9. Fact that there is less pressure on him due to the signings of Diaby and Zaniolo I feel helped.
  10. Cash has to come off at the start of the 2nd half. Leaving him on will be suicidal. Hopefully the lack of press by us in the first half means we have more energy than Spurs second half.
  11. One of my Arsenal mate's complaint about Emery was that he used to needlessly change tactics from one game to another.
  12. Emery's got his tactics totally wrong. The soft press is allowing Spurs to pick us apart
  13. This kid is the truth. Ill be gutted if he isnt with us next season
  14. The pressure is off of him now, so he's performing much better
  15. Same McGinn who 13 months back we thought was not good enough for the PL. Amazing what Unai has done.
  16. Essentially Zaniolo took his spot. We went for experience over youth. Hope we don't come to regret it.
  17. Wasn't that some silly politician's idea? Don't think it originated from the club or supporters.
  18. Seems like a technical partnership. Nothing to get overly excited about unless we see Rakuten (parent company of Vissel) sponsoring Villa.
  19. I had a friend that worked at one of the major high street bookmakers. He told me VIP clients would actually bet on adjacent website/apps set up by the bookmakers that offered more attractive odds and higher limits.
