Seeing Downing been told he can leave. I´d take him back in a heartbeat, wont happen though, too high wages, never go back etc etc. IMO hes a great player and just what we need. Can see MON going for him.

Ahh, ffs overreaction. So what? We´d better get used to this, young players from abroad doesnt dream of playing for Aston Villa FC, they will use us as a stepping stone for bigger clubs. Thats modern football for you. It´s up to the club to make the most of it, sell him with a big profit when the time comes, invest the money and progress as a club. Get used to it, it will happen again.

Aaron Hunt isnt a bad shout. Quality player. Another one we were linked with in the summer, Yoan Gouffran (Bordeaux) striker/winger, could probably play the role Weimann does right now. He has started the season with Bordeaux very well, scoring something like 9-10 goals already (all comps..)

As for CB´s there is a couple of young ones out there. My suggestions Harry Maguire (Sheffield UTD) only 19 but will be some player. Pontus Jansson (Malmö FF, Swedish Allsvenskan) 21 years old, played for the U21 now in the senior side for the first time against England, he has a bit of Martin Laursen about him.

What can we expect? Seems to be playing well in the U21-series and next gen series. I know there is alot of hype around him and hes highly thought of. Anyone seen him play? I know people said a while ago that hes a like young (!) Ashley Young. How old is he? 17?
