    Steam

Adding to the list.... Orcs Must Die (GotY Edition) Sam & Max Collection KOTOR From Dust Ys: Origin Trine Franchise (yes, again. For another friend) The Walking Dead Prince of Persia Collection (all the PoP games for a tenner - its a secret flash sale) Serious Sam 3 - Four Pack. This is getting expensive. Still tempted by stuff today but must resist.
  2. The release of a new patch for it usually results in chaos with the game breaking spectacularly due to code issues, server issues or both. Right now probably isn't the best time to try and get to grips with it. In a few days a stable hotfix will probably appear.

    Steam

Remember the golden rule with any Steam sale chaps - if it ain't in the daily deal, flash sale or community vote, DO NOT BUY until the last day of the sale. Otherwise, you might kick yourself when those games you bought become even cheaper! So far, I've bought... Binding of Isaac DLC Tomb Raider Legend Tomb Raider Anniversary Tomb Raider Underworld Lara Croft - Guardian of Light (plus DLC) Trine Franchise (for a friend) Then I was gifted Payday: The Heist. Holding off on todays deals for now. Edit: Not steam but I also picked up the La-Mulana remake and its absolutely amazing. If you liked Super Metroid/Castlevania/Shadow Complex and love SNES games, you should check it out pronto. Trailer here
  4. Loads of us at Rllmuk play it regularly using my mumble server. Feel free to join us Si. The game has a steep learning curve and bugs o-plenty, mainly because of the ARMA engine, but its a poster child for emergent gaming. The wonderful scenarios and stories that evolve naturally as you play I think are why everyone is buzzing about the game.
  5. Playing through Dragons Dogma at the moment and think that the game is absolutely brilliant. Not the easiest game to get to grips with initially buts its blossomed into something spectacularly epic. The hardware its on holds it back some and the demo done it no justice at all but I'll sing its praises to anyone who will listen.
  6. Napoleonic Wars is even more incredible.
  7. ...as well as the developers! **** 'em their hard work!
  8. There's certainly quite a bit of buzz surrounding this mod at the moment. I bought ARMA II in one of the steam sales last year but have never bothered to download it. I think I might have to now. Also, FRAPSed some Tera BAM fightin'! This game has got its hooks into me well and proper. Dragon's Dogma turned up today too. Woo!
  9. Haters be hatin'. You should absolutely, definitely do this. (don't do this)
  10. Oh wow, your mic sounds much clearer in the video. It was pretty much a garbled mess via mumble, often difficult to hear. I wonder if it might be Fraps recording your intended mic input but Mumble has your shitty laptop case mic selected which is what I was hearing?
  11. As its cheap as chips, I decided to rent a mumble server. Its a 50 slot and I figure its no skin off my nose if other people here in Games and Gaming use for video games. You can connect by firstly downloading mumble here and then using the following details. Address: 85.236.100.59 Port: 30662 Always open to suggestions on how to have this thing configured. If you want specific channels added etc just give me a shout in this thread. Mods, feel free to sticky this.
  12. Use mine. I insist. I'll create a thread with the details in.
  13. I've gone from play NA Tera to playing EU Tera. Had my arm twisted by some work colleagues to make the jump. So for any of you lot still playing, feel free to hit me up on the Essenia server. Character name is Faction. Its kinda supplanted my time playing Diablo! Also, if any Games and Gaming VT folk want to use it for their Diablo group runs or whatever, I now run a 50 slot mumble server. I'll post up the ip address or something if there's any interest.
  14. Dawkins holds his views because of the evidence that led him there. There is no evidence for anything you or your sources have put forward. None, nada, zilch. So why did you choose the bible? Why not another religious text from elsewhere in the world? Do you think you would be of the Christian faith had you picked up the Koran that day? I asked earlier and you didn't reply but you bring it up again so I will ask again - why in your opinion does a universe not born of a divine hand have no purpose? Why does a universe need one? Is the worship of your creator the only purpose you see in existence?
  15. It doesn't matter WHAT anyone IS. What's important is WHAT they are saying!! I don't care how many scientists agree or disagree with Dawkins or New Darwinsim. In a survey done in the US in 1997 4 out of 10 scientists admitted they beleived in a personal God. That was roughly the same since the survey was carried out in 1904. According to an article in the Guardian many scientists in a more secular Europe feel so pressured into not supporting ID or a beleif in God that they keep private their opinions. In complaining that Schroeder is a Jew - you are expressing classic Bulverism which is a logical fallacy in which, rather than proving that an argument in favour of an opinion is wrong, a person instead assumes that the opinion is wrong, and then goes on to explain why the other person held it. Scientists like Noble & Meyer were so outraged by the amount of mis-information that was being banded about about ID and what was being proposed by anti - theists like Dawkins - that they stood up and mad themselves heard last September and started the website C4ID. That site would then give scientists the chance to voice both sides of the arguments - WITHOUT religion playing any part of it. Has it ever occurred to you to question WHY they are saying it? You can bandy about accusations of bulverism all you like, it doesn't negate the massive elephant in the room - every single one of your sources is out prove the divine is real with predudice. They start with the conclusion of ID and set out to find things to support it or, rather, cast doubt on things that don't
  16. Yes they do. Any one who does not is a quack with an agenda. It's a ridiculous argument saying that someone must be a quack because he/she doesn't agree with your viewpoint. It's like me saying because I didn't like a certain teacher at school - because he/she was a horrible person in my eyes and he/she made my life hell - everything he/she taught me at school, every book he/she recommended I read, every piece of homework was all a load of tosh, none of it could possibly be true. Julie in ridiculous argument shocker. News at 11. Dr. Gerald Schroeder....oh look, he's a god damned ORTHODOX JEW. My point proven. Thank you. You incredulity beggars belief Julie and you're completely blind to it. It's not about my viewpoint, its about the scientific community's viewpoint. How many names do you think would be on this page if we could list every scientist in the world who dismissed ID because it doesn't hold water?
  17. Yes they do. Any one who does not is a quack with an agenda.
  18. I'll answer that one for you John. Email is not part of God's greater plan for us all. He works in mysterious ways and has is reasons. I hope this answer is satisfactory. (Hey, this is easier than I thought!)
  19. What is this supposed to mean and where did you get this from? I do not understand it and/or cannot comprehend it, therefore it can't be true. Only what my mind can comprehend is truth. And "Magic Sky Wizard did it all" is about as comprehensive as it gets. Not to mention incredibly arrogant. Stone Age thinking people, making obviously made up bullshit that much easier to swallow! What you can accept has no bearing on reality. It's quite tragic you see no purpose in the universe beyond worshipping and being subservient to its imagined, despicable creator.
  20. Which makes me feel like some kind of chosen one as so far, I've not had a single issue whatsoever. Not a single error on login, patcher worked without any problems, game installed without needing admin privileges, never been kicked due to a server issue. All is well. I've just jinxed myself haven't I.
  21. Installed it tonight after I got in from work. Logged in first attempt. No issues so far. Played some Monk. Great fun. Drama is ridiculous. Here's my Battletag, feel free to add me: Sie#2766
  22. Anyone not expecting the servers to completely implode? I've got some bad news for you then because Blizzard have a lot of fans and they're all trying to play your game at the same time.
  23. Yep. And **** well pronto too!
  24. When it was released on PC, I devoured Alan Wake and its DLC in a weekend. It was a lot better than I think I was expecting it to be.
  25. I can't think of any reason why this game needs to exist other than milking the brand. The reason why the Elder Scrolls games work is because they're single player.
