    Clarke has been much improved this season, however i still believe hes a better dm than cb due to his ability on the ball. I also feel hes a bit weak in the tackle for a cb. He started life as a cm and to me at least this is where i see him playing.

    most influential has to be gabby and benteke for me - gabby has been immense and 4 goals for benteke is a great return. still think we will struggle to break teams down when they shut up shop - al la liverpool but hopefully wont be as close to relegation as last year but its still gonna be close for me

    the rule is that the ref can allow play to continue but if the advantage doesnt materialise then he can pull it back - weiman didnt hit the target to advantage lost and play brought back - simples!

    cant see us finishing above 15th from what ive seen so far. not overly impressed with the signings and still think we need a half dozen players to make us competitive. clear out given ireland and bent to free up wages for 6 coming in and maybe my opionion will change but we have a few injuries already and we looked weak against wycombe so god knows how we'd do against a prem team...

    I have no problem with benteke leaving so long as we get a big fee. but if he's leaving to further his career then he should look at ashley young, gareth barry and james milner all billy big balls thinking leaving villa would make them world class and all three are bit part players and their careers have taken backwatd steps. so by all means leave with us getting a bucket of cash, but it'll destroy your carer not make it as you're really not as good as you think you are
