  1. Seriously though. WTF is a tin pot club? How is it a slur, it doesn't make any sense. I think Norwich are a carboard box club.
  2. Wainy316

    Do you read?

That is pretty hardcore. I took me 5 months to read them all.
  3. Where's that guy gone that said O'Kane was a cert.
  4. Thoguht you was about to tell us that you'd landed a role at Bradford Uni.
  5. Frimpong gone to Barnsley on a permanent. Surely he weren't good enough for us then.
  6. Natalie Sawyer is definitely number 1 on that channel.
  7. Zog actually could make that so this season.
  8. I wish the club would just tell us straight. Surely they must know what a desperately hopeful bunch we are posting endlessly in a transfer thread. Put us out of our misery you bastards!
  9. I still have all the original figures in my parents loft, fire station and everything. I loved pouring the ectoplasm through the grating on the roof.
  10. yes and no ... my recollection of the 70's is that it was shit ..but the 80's ( I turned 10 in 1980) were great 80's Britain looks like the most horrible depressing place in the world whilst 80's America always looks the opposite.
  11. Villa used up a years worth of excitement on Wednesday night I think.
  12. Worst transfer saga, eveeeeeeeeeeer.
  13. *cough* 60s *cough* The 60's seemed like a great time to be an older teenager/young adult in. For a child I can't imagine a time better than the 90's. A great mix of developing technology but it not being all consuming and there was still a desire to play outside and do kid things. Children's TV was unbeatable and quite violent to boot. It saw the rise of computer games and Premier League football was brilliant even if now it is clear that it was the beginnings of something terrible.
  14. No it doesn't Harry, in fact quite the opposite in my opinion, why should we bow down and give in when toys are thrown out of his pram? Mind you, I'm not sure I want to see him in a City shirt again now. He's burning a lot of bridges. I don't think it makes you look small time. But I would question why Norwich are so insistent on him staying if everything we're hearing is true. If he was playing every week then I could understand. You wouldn't want to sell a key player and would be standing firm. But it doesn't seem like Wes has been an integral part of the Norwich team this season. So it is a bit puzzling as to why Norwich would sacrifice the 1-2m they'll get for him if they sell now just to not do business with us. They'll be giving up money just to have an unhappy player who they won't use and who they have to pay for the rest of the season. Like I said, I don't see it as small time, but I do find it a bit odd. Are relations really that bad between norwich and Lambert that they won't do any business with him, even if it's to the detriment of their own club? As I said Stevo, I think its just got personal between Wes and our club, and our CEO McNally won't back down. But if somebody insulted you like that, you'd want them as far away as possible not keep them on board as revenge, surely?
  15. It was the 90's so yeah it was good. Best time to grow up by a country mile.
  16. Not looking as fit as she used to.
  17. You won't ever make your money back over a season though. 3 braces and your sorted. Surely he did that last season?
  18. Poor attendance, great atmosphere. Majority of Lower Holte was stood all game.
  19. Flick the ink at your closest rival.
  20. How do we know he didn't say "things are ****ing great right now and Aston Villa are shit"?
  21. Could you elaborate a little? I've heard nothing but great things about this place which has inspired me to visit this year. Apologies for late reply to this... Sarajevo is a perfect city break. Its small enough to be able to navigate on foot, yet big enough to have a lot of different things to see. The old town and the bazaar's are a great way to spend a few hours, and its got enough religious building to keep the culture vultures interested. The nightlife is very good, and the prices even better. The people I've always found to be friendly, and the women, good lord. Enough said. I'll admire from distance. If they're anywhere close to Ukrainian women though I may have to spend a lot of time sitting down.
  22. He didn't seem keen on hugging that fan yesterday after the second goal. Pushed him back into the crowd. Lambert out!
  23. Irish dancing, cardboard inspector I might be being over cautious but I don't think it's a good idea to get so close to that box.
  24. At least he tried something like that, he was pretty close from what I could see, confidence! He went for it but then realised it was patented by Doug Ellis and he hadn't sought permission so he had to pull out. He was on course to cream it in the top corner.
