Yea, as soon as the premier league finishing money and tv money comes in you get huge budget. Although with the amount of quality needed at Villa the first few seasons every penny is welcome.

Quite enjoying Villa this year, finished 10th, then 7th and then 6th now on my fourth season and aiming for top 4. All the young players we already had and the ones i invested in are all starting to become stars which meant i didn't have to spend anything this summer even though they gave me 127m and i have 400k on the wage budget to play with. Gives me the option of really splashing on 2-3 players next summer if i get into the champions league, should be fun. Only problem is most of my starting 11 are wanted and i keep receiving rubbish bids for them which is unsettling them but ive learned to just reject it, have a meeting and then just wait it out and eventually they seem to say they are happy to play for me again.

I think hes a very good speaker and he'll obviously talk about the positives but the fact is we are run horribly, we are going down without a fight and we consistently hire the wrong people. He hasnt, hes played well probably 5-6 times for us and probably started what 20 games? If that? He's not a superstar and hes not our saviour, he's just a kid with a lot of potential at the moment.
