I think he should definitely get the hook for the Fulham game, their full backs are good attacking down the wings, and Elmo just doesn't do enough to stop crosses coming in.

In years to come people will look back and remember him fondly for his goals and good performances rather than the other stuff. You don't remember players for the games they didn't play, that isn't what being a football fan is about.

Not disagreeing, but I think people tend to forget that he is often being asked to cross with his wrong foot - something which I think he is far better at than Snodgrass.

Not one of his better games, but they were scared of him which helps us in its own right. -
I might go to the bookies tomorrow and see if they are already paying out on us going up.

He seemed to be chasing shadows, he isn't really suited to a high tempo game I don't think.

He looked really sluggish when he first came on and nearly lost the ball a few times, but he went on to have a good impact on the game.

I've given him plenty of flak this season and credited Agnew with the upturn in our attacking play, but tonight felt like a Steve Bruce victory. Well done.

I still don't like the fact that he doesn't tackle, ever.

The game played out like I expected, ok I didn't predict a brilliant last minute winner, but we drew their sting in the first half and were much more comfortable in the second. Thought Terry was superb, the full backs not so much. We were poor with the ball but had the individual flair to win it. I would even go so far as to say that Bruce managed it well tonight.

United have been better but they can't keep that tempo up all game, I'm confident we will have a good spell second half. Ref has been awful both ways, hope he doesn't have a crucial decision to make.

I've heard he is quick, so that is very much welcome given our lack of pace in the CB/DM positions.

I'm not sure why you think it is crazy that a new coach would change the way they are playing. "It's a different voice, it's different ideas, it's a different way forward," Bruce added. "Already we've seen a difference in training. There's nothing quite like freshening it up."

TRO, I think bringing Agnew in has resulted in more than the sort of incremental change that may have been slowly happening under Bruce. Of course there are other factors in our recent improvement, but Agnew seems to be key in this.

He is a good defender, but we did pay a championship record fee for a defender to get him. Glad to have him, but we aren't lucky to have him.

I think it was failing to come up with any other plan for the several months Grealish was out that he was mocked for.

I thought he was ok in some respects today, not sure if he really gave us enough defensive stability though. Sure, you wouldn't expect us to need too much of a defensive linchpin at home to Barnsley, but we were getting overrun in the last 30.

I think we had his best years. Strange how he is always referred to as basically just being a big man these days, he was so much more of a player than that when he was here.

He's never looked up to the pace of English football. A good couple of cameos in the last few games, but for what he provides we might as well give a youngster some game time.

I fully expect us to part company with Bruce if we get promoted this season. Tony is a man with money behind him, a vision, a plan (which I'm sure doesn't involve Bruce after this season), and he's in a hurry. Who would want to work for such a boss? You wouldn't find many that would turn their noses up, I don't think.

He played well tonight, also looked taller. Not sure it was actually the same player.
