Not a great turn of events.

It would be a massive result for Manchester United if they can claw back into this and get out of Bournemouth with a draw. But even if they lose while keeping a second half clean sheet under this relentless attack from the Cherries, it would be something to propel them onward for another week.

It's not, BUT...we are in a great position to secure the windfall it offers, and there's no guarantee we'll be in a similar position next year or the years after that. Newcastle, Man Utd and Chelsea will all be right back in the thick of it, and quite possibly at our expense. Also, if we don't secure CL this run-in, we are likely to lose the services of Martinez, and possibly Watkins and Luiz as well. The consequences of missing out will be serious. We have to strike now while the iron is white hot.

Him, Carragher, and to a lesser degree Henry are very annoying. I don't know how Abdo puts up with the constant joking and falling all over each other at the slightest hint of something funny (or not!) Richards is usually the instigator. I see similar explosions of group laughter when I watch the Overlap. An intensity of laughter completely out of scale with what is supposedly funny as they grab each other and slide all over the place. I suppose there's an audience for that kind of inane banter and theatrics.

The ref should be sectioned. But that's no excuse for blowing a 2 goal lead at home against a mediocre side with the stakes as high as they are. Lucky to score a third, but the players switched off AGAIN in the last few minutes. Not bothered by Luiz suspension vs Arse, he needs a rest and we'll probably lose. I'm actually glad he took that yellow. Watkins MOTM Quick feet and nice goal by Rogers.

Strangely enough, this was our biggest snowstorm all winter/early spring, and only our second snowstorm that amounted to more than a couple of inches. The high temp on Monday is forecast to be 60F, so here comes the flooding!
