Januzaj is young and young players, when they stay fit, improve month by month. I expect a completely different Januzaj to turn out for Man Utd next year. Rooney is the one that is going to squeak under the genius of Van Gaal.

It's incredible how many Bents we've accumulated. Benteke, Bendtner and Bent simply have to play at the same time at least once. We could call them The Killer Bs.

Incredibly good signing. What's more, over the last few seasons he's got better and better. He may be at his peak right now, so we may get the best of him. Better going forward than in defence but you can say that about every full back we have, and at least this left back has experience. Could not be happier in the circumstances. Can't wait until his name is on the team sheet.

I'm sure Benteke will come back full of confidence. He would have been watching the World Cup. Belgium missed him. They lacked a real threat up front. Their manager didn't think Lukaku was the right man to fill the void and Origi, whilst promising, is nowhere near Benteke's level.

How much better is Westwood over Carruthers? Right now Westwood is better and has more experience but Carruthers has more ability. He also works hard and can tackle. Wouldn't surprise me if there is a tussle for the CM spot between the pair of them at some point if he is kept with the first team.

Have they sorted out CB yet? It must be a bit concerning for the Man Utd fan. I wouldn't want to go into the season with Smalling, Evans and Jones for cover. Three no.2s when what they need is some no.1s. On the other hand, they look like they have the youth talent to continue to score goals. Wilson, Januzaj and maybe Nick Powell this year will displace Carrick from the midfield.

Ref has a reputation for being card happy. Look up his name. Notorious. Could have sent Godin off and given numerous yellows to Uruguay. They just hacked us down all game. Still we might have won. Barkley changed the game for us when he came on. But after we scored the equaliser Rooney was all puffed up and dropped deep into midfield to "dominate" so Barkley hardly got another touch after that. Gerrard then gave Suarez chance to win it on a plate.

is "captain calamity" trending yet? cost his team the premier league title and now looks like he has knocked England out of the World Cup. also, the Spanish-speaking ref was so biased towards Uruguay it wasn't even polite.

We're good at getting great first seasons out of signing players whose surname begin with Ben.

Big men have larger turning circles. It's not so much technique - Ya Ya Toure has great technique. Small men are more nippy, and when you put them up against a beefcake defender you make it very difficult for them. As for Kozak, we've not seen enough of him yet. I suspect he scores a wider range of goals than side-foot Bent and has better hold-up play, but he's definitely not in the same technical class as Benteke.

Norwich won't sell us Hoolahan then? Same age. Hoolahan was probably first choice because Lambert knows him and is a current international - maybe a bit fitter and less injury prone. Hopefully Cole can get fit and add competition to the midfield.

many people were asking Who? when they signed Vertonghen and Paulinho? all brought from little leagues - Holland and Brazil. Eriksen the same. his reputation had not yet made the transition from youtube videos. Kroos, Fabregas and Pogba are in a different league. Lloris the exception, but he is a keeper.

Isn't he looking to squeeze more money out of City? That's what I would say if I were. Van Gaal also looking at Mats Hummels. He's another that is probably too good. Not sure what their solution is at centre-back. It's the key position in the team and would be worrying if they can't get in two Mangala or Hummels let alone one.

You think Schwingstiger* (?!) will leave Bayern for Man Utd when Kroos and Fabregas and even Pogba want nothing to do with them? Last player who would go there to babysit, IMO. Now, Morgan Schneiderlein is a great call. Got something to prove is already at the level of a Champions League squad player and might be able to improve more. *Just checked. It's Schweinsteiger or Mr. Pig Farmer to you. Edit: I know about the Fabio and Rafael. I was being sarcastic and l think sarcasm tags are lame.

Sven Bender has been linked with Arsenal. £15 million. Decent price. Maybe Man Utd could get Lars? This is where Man Utd should be looking. They'll be fleeced if they go for a name, and they have the youth in Powell and Januzaj that they really don't need to block their path with a Fabregas or Pogba.

Just seems too good for them right now. Man Utd should stick with bringing on first tier youth and buy in guaranteed second tier quality. I'm sure a Bender will be an improvement over a Felliani, Carrick or Cleverley. The fact there are two of them just screams Man Utd. They'll buy both and it'll be incredible that twins are playing for Man Utd because that's never happened before ever.

Kroos = fail Fabregas = fail Pogba = you can have him... for £60 million Do I detect a pattern? The "names" don't want to know. I said before and now I really believe it. Man Utd will sign one or both of the Benders. They are the Man Utd level - not world class enough for the Champions League sides but good enough to be a squad player, and would improve the Man Utd team.
