  1. I'm still sniggering at Marcy making that defender look like a confused drunk who eventually drops on his arse
  2. Get in. Great play. Marcy made that defender look a right word removed
  3. You are right about the cooking time, 30 minutes is bollocks. I do think the oven is a good suggestion, though. As you say, doing it on the stove is good and surely the authentic way but my hob won't do it despite having 5 different burners. None of them will do it slowly enough so sticking it in a low oven with a lid works perfectly. Otherwise too much stirring is involved. One other thing. I remember a restaurant owner telling me frying chillis reduced their grunt so you may just want to throw them in the sauce. I don't know if it's true but that's what he said.
  4. No, that's not difficult or complicated. The only variations I might make are the following: Do the onions in a blender so you get an onion puree rather than chopping them. Make sure you blend the **** out of them and they will add a nice texture as well as acting as a thickening agent as they break down during cooking. Par-boil the potatoes slightly before adding them. I do mine peeled, cubed and then for four to five minutes in the microwave with a couple of tablespoons of water and a teaspoon of turmeric powder. You can throw the cooking water in the curry sauce. Use mutton if you can get it and cook it for longer. Don't overdo the wine vinegar at the beginning. It should be vinegar-sour but you'll be much better off adding some if it is not sour enough than trying to correct the balance of an over-sour sauce.
  5. Capello. He was there against Valencia sitting next to MON in the stands - unusual in itself - and was seen chatting to Villa players before the game. MON walked off alone at halftime so I think the conversation went like this around the 44m mark. Capello: "So do I give the half-time talk or do you?" MON: "What? Why would you do it? Capello "Well, I've agreed with Mr LernerI 'll be their manager this time next week maybe I should talk to them now." MON: "WTF?!"
  6. I was told we don't like players plus cash deals it has to be a straight cash deal . Not surprised us linked with him but think it will be a seperate deal if it's correct. Why would that be? It doesn't make logical sense to me but maybe I'm missing something? It strikes me as a good way of ensuring you actually get players you want rather than possibly missing out on them because a deal gets struck for them with another club. Can you elaborate on the reasons for our reluctance to do that way? Because Villa think the values get clouded and if its 28 mill they don't want City saying here is 18 mill and 10 for Ireland as an example . They will leave the Ireland deal until after the Milner deal is done imo . However I think it could work for us with Davies Young and Keaneplus cash going in different routes again if thats correct . What do you mean by this? What it says they feel it clouds negotiations Villa will have a value on Ireland for example thats 10 mill City say he is worth 15 mill . But 2 months down the road no one wants Ireland for 15 his price drops to 10 even 8 as time runs out on the transfer window . City want Milner our fee is 28 or 30 and we don't budge so we are not going to let City say Ireland is worth 15 mill we lose 5 mill on the deal that way ! The tactics worked with dunne we paid what we wanted to pay if we had tried to get him with GB deal his value would have been 8 mill. Its never as straighforward as we think but its how MON does his work he loves the cat and mouse stuff but in the end he tries to get value for his money . Thanks for the clarification.

  8. **** yeah, she's got a snatch from One Million Years BC
  9. Thanks for the info. Sounds about right both the fact he's going and the amount.
  10. Should have waited until her back was turned, then cracked her over the swede with a ball-pein hammer and stabbed her multiple times with a sharpened screwdriver to finish her off. Tried and trusted method for dealing with one of Satans street walkers 8) Tried by you? Remind me to never piss you off if that's the case  ..... I keep forgetting there's a bunch of young words removed on this board :x I was describing the preferred killing method of Sir Peter Sutcliffe, who did more for preventing STD's than Alexander Fleming. I'll tell you what, that's shocking and disgusting. The lack of awareness shown by today's youth regarding even modern history's great moments is a sad indictment of the times.
  11. Have read that myself. The rumours are that they have been getting all French on each others asses. Better than all Greek, I suppose. The rumours are widespread and strong and not just Rooney and Terry. If some of it is true it sounds like Terry may have been somewhat prescient when he talked about people being sent home.
  12. That's not the way I remember it. Funny, that's exactly how I remember it and Ponky has substantiated that point. We wanted him, he wanted to come but the barcodes didn't want to play ball so he put in a transfer request to force the move through. It may be that they wanted him to do that to save themselves a few quid by not having to pay him off. However, what it does demonstrate is he is prepared to put in a transfer request to get the career move he wants. Another point to consider is that the wages City are likely to offer will mean any sum he may be due from us if we sell him without him putting in a transfer request will very quickly be recouped by what the pay him every week. I'm not saying any of this will come to pass - he did want to join us once before when MON was manager - but he may well see City in the same light he saw Villa when he was with the barcodes. More money, more ambition, more likely to win things in the next couple of years.
  13. Oh, actually Burnham is a bit creepy as well because he is wearing as much eye shadow as Abbott!
  14. All but Burnham and Abbott are creepy ****. Should be amusing.

    Fox Cull?

Yes but not because of this incident. They are filthy vermin who should **** off back to the countryside. They are just big rats with bushy tails.
  16. I just don't get it, that is too subtle and intelligent a joke for me. I must have missed the start, middle and punchline. Oh no, wait, I get it now! **** classic, nice one mate!
  17. He didn't actually say that. He said we are not a FEEDER(sic) club. I think there is a distinction. I may be wrong but I don't think the club has said at any stage he is "not for sale". Arsenal have said that in relation to Fabregas but I don't think we have issued any such unequivocal statement. Therefore I read it differently to you. I read it that the club is keeping its options open regarding a sale. If the price/deal is right I think they will sell.
