Not sure where he will fit in the team at the mo, will be waiting for Adomah or Snodgrass to pick up an injury. Still, good squad depth. -
Fair enough I was being flippant. Totally agree, he is a big part of any success this year, albeit less a one man show and more a talented support act. Nobody can get the ball off him, so him and Davis can take their merry time whilst Snodgrass, Adomah and Hourihane get forward. I am sure Bruce is praying for no more injuries now he has stumbled upon his formula.

Yesterday's 3 of Adomah, Snodgrass and Kodjia had a really good balance to it, and quality. We all know what Kodjia can do upfront on his own but he was very good yesterday keeping hold of the ball and finding team mates. With Davis continuing his form up the top, now with these three behind him this does feel like we've found a way to get the most out of these players. It also means Bruce can stay in his comfort zone and keep it defensive if needed. I can see him starting this way home and away.

That's fair enough, FWIW I would have liked him to do the same also, but if he does give a little back then maybe the ball's in the fans court and possibly now we all have to reassess the relationship. He needs another win and soon, get that and we can all start to look forwards positively.

This thread was unanimous that we needed a change, but after draws and recently some clean sheets. We were waiting for the knock out blow of a devastating loss and nobody would care to see him sacked. But we got a 0-3 away win instead. He is now surely in the job for a fair bit longer. It has become a loveless marriage of convenience and we ain't gonna get on with him, but there are so many positives in this squad now it would be a very risky time to swap managers.

In what world are you allowed to give someone abuse and then when it is given back say it is completely out of order? Yeah he gets paid a lot but that doesn't alter it for me anyway.
