  1. Haha he's terrible going forward, see how many assists he has at the end of the season. My point is, he might be ok/average at defending but in todays game we need a full back that is gonna be consistently good attacking and defending.
  2. Well if we want to have a good defensive record while also having a minus 1 goal difference over the season then Hutton is the man for the job...
  3. I watched an interview with the Fulham manager the other day and it was being said that he has little say in who they sign and is expected to just get on with what players the men behind the scenes provide for him. He could be a good candidate to take us over based on that as we need someone who can get the best out of our lot ASAP and he's used to working with other people's signings
  4. He only lasts about an hour of any game he plays and goes missing for the remainder of the game. If he makes a forward run in the last 20 minutes of a game and we lose the ball then it's guaranteed that we will leave a massive hole down our right side with Hutton plodding back into position about 10 seconds too late, he's shite and a liability and his work rate is a myth.
  5. Yeah thats what I think. You seem to have all the facts there because you read it in the papers or the Villa media team fed it to you that way...
  6. I dont know anything about what really goes on in the background that leads to the owner appointing a manager just like you don't but imo Wyness and Round are the most likely to be the main influence.
  7. Or...appointing Bruce was the wrong decision which means that's 2 managers appointed under wyness who have been terrible so his position needs looking at. No point sticking with wyness if he's as out of date as our manager when it comes to understanding the modern game and what's required be competitive and progressive.
  8. Give him the next 2 games and don't let him sign anyone in that time, if we fail to get at least 3 points from those 2 games then get rid and hopefully get a new guy in with a bit of time left in the transfer window. That would be giving him a fair chance imo but if it was up to me he'd be gone already, brutal manager stuck in his ways.
  9. We were top of the championship when he was hired so yeah, we've regressed
  10. Well then we need new people picking the manager as wyness and round if that's who picked the last two are clueless
  11. Dean Smith, hes a Villa fan and gets his teams actually scoring a few goals and playing good football.
  12. I feel sorry for him, Elmo going off injured meant he had 1 less 'tactical' substitution. He could of changed it from hoofball upto Hogan and Gabby to hoofball upto Samba and Gabby...genius. Please sack him Big Tone
  13. In the pre season games in Germany we played it out from the back and showed we can actually play good football as we have the players to do it but then yesterday it's back to the same old shit from last season. Bruce out!
  14. Should of took on the full back more and too often just did the easy thing and turned back and lay it off. Shocking miss
  15. He can't last 90 minutes, he should be back up. He always goes missing for the last 15-20 minutes of games. I'd rather Bree start
  16. Looks like 443 with Gabby and Elmo either side of hogan. Can't see bacuna playing as left winger in a 442 so I think it's Whelan and Lansbury sitting in the middle with bacuna in front of them
  17. I'd rather sign a target man as I think Hernandez is too similar to Kodjia. He's only ever had 1 prolific season but it was Bruce that got him firing so I won't be too against the signing if it happens
  18. Pissed off that he's been sold. Chester is going to have to play every game now as I can't see a centre back pairing that works without him being one of them. Terry and Samba will be hard pushed to stay injury free throughout the season and Elphick or Richards shouldn't be relied upon...
  19. Lawrence looks like a class act. McCormack out and Lawrence in would be great piece of business.
  20. He looks a bag of nerves, his decision making is rushed and he gives the ball away too often. I like him but I think the injury has ruined him or has stunted his progression and it will take him another couple of seasons to get back to 100%
  21. One difference I noticed Today was he didn't whinge to the ref when he was fouled, just got up and got on with. He needs to cut out the bs and concentrate on his game more so hopefully Todays performance was a sign that he's matured.
  22. Can't see anyone paying what we'd want so he'll probably go out on loan again. Supposedly Sunderland arent spending much this window so could see them trying to get a loan deal but doubt we'd loan a player to a promotion rival. He'll end up at Ipswich or somewhere like that on loan imo
