I reckon we had a centre back lined up if we shifted Richards. Happy with this transfer window anyway and hopefully we don't need to use Richards at any point.

What player improved over the past couple of seasons? I can't think of any, so Westwood would have to be of an exceptionally high standard to of been the only player out of 30 or so to of improved and he would of had to of done it while being surrounded by complete shite and having a strike force with the likes of Gabby and Weimann to aim at. Having Westwood, Jedinak, Tish, Gardner and hopefully a decent new midfield signing battling for the 2 or 3 midfield spots would have us in good shape and provide good competition.

He has the quality but his attitude was terrible. Good riddance to most miserable sour face player I've seen play for us. Every photo I seen him in he looked like he wanted to jump off a bridge...

He was bad but that was his first competitive game for 6 months so he needs more game time to get upto match fitness.

I just clicked on that twitter feed and someone posted the tweet from Xia about us signing a No.9 and he spells the word real with a capital 'R' when claiming the new stirker ' To be a Real good No.9' It's happening.

Would of liked to of seen Rushain Hepburn Murphy on the bench instead of Richards or Hutton, I don't see why he needed the 2 of them on there when we had Baker and Amavi as well for defensive cover.

Nice one, I like how quickly this deal has been done after the shambles on Wednesday night. 3 more solid signings and we should push the likes of Richards and Hutton well down the pecking order.

He's one of very few that ran himself into the ground every game and gave it his all. His character is good and he has played well for us in the past and there's no reason why he won't improve once he's not surrounded by better players with better attitudes.

Don't want him to be sold. Had 2 good seasons when he came here and can no doubt get back playing to that level once our squad improves. He's always been tasked with having too much to do and shouldn't be our main defensive midfielder. I'd like to see him play alongside a player like Jedinak as I reckon he'd thrive.

I won't have a problem with him for the time being as long as he gets the message now that he can't fix some of the shit players we have and needs to get rid or make a new bomb squad and keep them away from the squad. Some have bad attitudes and some are just terrible and the likes of Richards, Gestede and Okore have both.

Yep it's blatantly obvious that he is only good for coming on as an impact sub near the end of games, I can remember a few occasions last season when he came on late and looked dangerous but I don't remember him ever playing a full game for us and looking anything but slow and shit. Last night he was on for 45 minutes and was still outside the box a few times when our wingers were in crossing positions, really hope we sign a striker and let Gestede fight for a place on the bench or just get rid.

Get him in, he's been part of the Wales squad which has loads of fight and spirit and is a solid player. It will also push Richards further down the pecking order if we are stuck with him.

Teach the centre backs to hold their position, all 3 of them last night were caught out moving out too far leaving us exposed, a bit of help from the midfield would of helped but still they need stay in position as there's no danger on the halfway line.
