We have Kodjia to bang them in, I know Long wouldn't score 20 goals or anything but he chases everything down, runs the channels and is great in the air, he would be a great foil for Kodjia at this level and would get 10+ goals himself imo

Supposedly Shane Long will be allowed leave Southampton. He's had a bad year or so but I think he would be a great partner up front for Kodjia.

He's a liability, in the build up to the Reading chance that led to the double save by Nyland he completely missed an easy clearance and let the ball go right through him. The only thing he does well is head the ball, everything else he is either bad or average at. Get rid.

We were linked to Jonas Knudsen earlier so he might be the alternative if the Bryan deal doesn't happen. He has 4 goals and 9 assists for Ipswich in 120 odd games and seems highly rated by them after reading some forums, he was also part of the Denmark squad at the world cup and most importantly has a long throw, sign him up

Shocking again tonight. Our players were throwing themselves to the ground and acting like they just had their leg broken every chance possible as all we are under Bruce is a set piece team, I think it would be better if the players were coached to out play the opposition in open play and control games. Why did he bring on 3 strikers which meant Grealish was playing in his own half for the last 20 minutes, why not push Grealish further up rather than further back as hes the player we want to be getting on the ball in and around the opposition box. Clueless again tonight by Bruce...

He's class and for some reason I feel he doesn't get the credit he deserves, he does more than just score. He contributes defensively and is a great link player for our midfield and he covers loads of ground every game, I'd guess he runs more than any other player in our team. Just wish he was starting with Ireland. @Hourihane

Thats fair enough but for me Thor pushes further forward and while he often just lays it off similar to jedinak he also plays some nice 1-2s and looks for the forward pass whereas Ive rarely seen that from jedinak who is extremely one dimensional.
