He playing in the hole behind Benteke tonight. Some really good passing from him so far and great vision. Impressive that he has that side to his game as well being a striker

Yeah he makes some strange decisions and is not the best from coerners but he scored two crackers last season and his passing out from the back is great and he sets up alot of our play from the back. He just needs the right partner in beside him imo

He was playing on the wing for Blackpool last season.

Just noticed when watching the highlights that when we made our 10 subs every player that went off got a pat on the back form Lambo except for Clark. Ouch!!

The picture wasnt as clear as I would like but was decent enough and the commentary was decent tonight. The commentary will probably return to being shit if we lose the next game . Its a lot easier to listen to Jack when we are winning...

He looked good at right back in an attacking sense but wasnt really tested defensively. Was not impressed with him when playing in midfield, he was the only player that was letting our attacks down with indecision a few times. He looks like a good grafter and has a good pass and obviously shot when he has time and space on the ball. Can see him being cover for a number of positions especially right back and as he is young Im sure will improve alot over the next season and will turn out to be a good signing.

He was brilliant going forward tonight but was caught out a couple of times defensively and had to foul their player. The first of which he would of been booked for in a proper match but Im happy enough with him making a few errors if he can continue get forward like he did tonight.

He looks scared everytime I see him, looks like he has lost it mentally. Am guessing Lambert knows their is a good player in their somewhere and will continue to throw him in at the deep end in the hope he can overcome his demons.

No way would I play Bacuna in center midfield. He does ok on the wing and hopefully will be effective at right back also. Karim was brilliant tonight, some of our attacking moves were class and hopefully we can perform like that in the league.

Did you hate him for winning numerous free kicks for us with his diving? It's a shit part of his game but not many minded when he did it in a villa shirt. I cant stand divers,especially against us and even for us. I can understand a player going down if they feel contact when they are in full stride as if they try to carry on they could get hurt but throwing your leg out and instigating the contact is pathetic. Its not gonna happen anyway unless he will accept 50k a week

Hes been the best midfielder in pre season so far from what Ive seen. A real driving force at times that is capable of opening things up. Really hope he keeps up the good performances and I can see him being one of our most important players for the future.
