I hope spuds stump up the 25m quick as Benteke wants to move there according to the press tonight. If he doesnt get his move to them are we gonna have put up with a player that doesnt want to be here for a season? Class is permanent form is temporary. we will see just how big an impact PL was on Benteke in the next year or 2 when he is playing under different managers and different stresses. No doubt he was amazing this year for us but that doesnt guarantee anything in the future. He has shown to me that he might have a bad attitude and still quite immature so we will see how he gets on when thigs get tough for him.

He failed a medical because of a knee injury. Yeah I read that too but things are not always as they seem. he managed 37 league games last season so unless he got badly hurt near the end of the season its hard to understand how his knee is so bad.

Get Charlie Austin in. Ive heard good things about him and that hes similar to Shearer. His strike rate is very Impressive (a goal every 144 minutes) even if it is lower league. Maybe his deal to Hull fell through when he heard there might be a chance of signing for the Villa...

What about Emmanuel Eminike.? I watched him play vs Celtic in the Champions League and he was immense. He has a better than 2 in 1 strike rate but is 26 and is quoted at 12m Euro on transfermarket.com.

Well he forced a move out of Genk like this so history shows that this is how he and his agent operate. I have no doubt that if it comes to it he will go all out to get his move. The best way to judge someone is on their past behaviour.

There's no suggestion Benteke is forcing a move away. He's simply handed in a transfer request, which we'll accept if our conditions are met. That's how football works, and until he actually starts acting up, there's nothing to suggest he's forcing anything. What he's done is making his desires known, it's up to us to either allow the transfer to happen or not Yeah and imo that shows that he has no class and is a mercenery who couldnt care less that we gave him his chance and PL put great faith in him which imo was a big part in how succesful he has been over the last year. Since when is putting in a transfer request not equate to trying to force a move away?

Lukaku on loan as part of a deal is not out of the question tbf but extremely doubtful we would get him on a permanent deal as he actually has the potential to be just as good if not better than Benteke due to his age and performance last season. Just hope we get someone in who does the business for us next season, Bony would of been brilliant but doubt we will be signing a replacement til Benteke is gone judging by the clubs statement that we want the deal done during pre season which Im guessing is to give us a decent amount of time to replace him and Bony's deal will surely go through tomorrow or Wednesday. Its important to understand how big a part Paul Lambert had in Benteke having such a great season. He wouldnt of had so much faith put in him at a top 5 club and it could of been a completly different season for him and it could well be the case that at a club like Chelsea he wont have such an easy ride. Im personally pissed off but in the same sense am not too worried about the future as I can see how Lambert got players like delph and gabby hitting top form and have no doubt that he will keep us progressing up the league and improving all around the club. Would be quite sickened if Benteke ended up at spuds but this transfer request has come only a few days after Chelsea are being reported to be preparing a bid and them losing out on Cavani would strengthen that point so hopefully Benteke goes to chelsea for 20m + lukaku and lukaku has a stormer for us and takes the number 1 striker position for Belgium in the world cup and Benteke gets a bit of karma and thought a lesson in the process but doubtful we have a chance of getting Lukaku but thats my little dream that Im clinging to.
