  1. It feels amazing on ps4 for me. It's the first time in years that I have been excited playing a football demo. I just love using Juve, Pirlo is a joy to use. Once you master the first touch controls it just gets better. The new tactics work great also when you figure them out.
  2. He had a couple of bad corners but also put in a great ball which led to a chance for Cissokho. His delivery vs Liverpool was quality. It's like people wait til he puts in a few bad ones and then totally write him off. His general play yesterday was good.
  3. Cant decide if he is in the early stages of Bin Laden or Santa
  4. I've read that the edit options are majorly improved compared to the past few versions of PES so should have a good character editor. Sony need to release a patch so that usb sticks can be used on ps4 to get the jerseys and other stuff. Championship teams are in this year also along with second divisions from some other leagues so should mean a really large player base which will improve master league online.
  5. The gameplay is great and the new tactics where you set a formation for how you want your team to play whether in possession or out of possession works a treat. This game has serious potential, I just hope master league online has divisions and is done like PES 2011. A decent online 2v2 system would be great also. PES is back!!
  6. Been playing it the last few days and it plays brilliantly. I'd definitely recommend it. The gameplay is great and imo 'PES is back' so long as Konami don't decide to mess it up like they have done in the past.
  7. The notion that it's impossible to understand what's happening in a game by listening to the radio is fatuous. If that were true, nobody before the 1950s would have known anything at all about any games except those they attended in person. Have you ever listened to Captain Jack commentating on a Villa game? Would you feel like you're gonna be able to form a decent opinion of the game based on his ramblings? You are reliant on how someone else sees things unless you watch the game yourself.
  8. Are you honestly comparing Aston Villa to Borussia Dortmund? Honestly? Really? No, I haven't compared us to Borussia Dortmund but they had a style of play which worked against Arsenal and it is hardly a great secret in fact in the first game last year I think we bullied them a bit. Are you saying that we are incapable of playing a pressing game? Did you watch the game?
  9. Wow how can people think that it's possible to have a proper opinion of a game without seeing it? If you listen on radio or read an article then your opinion is based on what someone else sees. This is a new low imo, like seriously? Westwood is pure class, it's plain for anyone to see(not read or listen!). The guy has been improving constantly and is our most consistent player.
  10. He looked nervous and was trying too hard, plenty of times he should of just played the easy ball but instead he kept over doing it. He is gonna take some time to get upto the levels required and the only positive to come from that game was that he hopefully will learn from his first full start and also the manager and coaches can assess his performance and help him out.
  11. He pushed over towards Clark and got too close to him and didn't pay attention to Ozil, I dunno if maybe Hutton should of been more aware of the run also but Senderock definitely takes most of the blame imo. Watch the 2nd Arsenal goal and see how Clark checked his run just before the ball was squared to Danny Ballbag, he should of been trying to cut out the cross ala Baker vs Liverpool last week at the end of the 1st half. I think he was trying to play offside which was stupid and he should of been more switched on to the danger.
  12. We controlled the game for half an hour and looked dangerous. Then we just went completely flat and you could see the game change and all of a sudden Arsenal looked like they were taking over but I think this was more down to us running out of steam than anything else. I don't understand why people are saying we would of lost anyway regardless of a bug hitting the squad. I believe we would of kept playing the way we were for the first half for the whole game if we had our fully fit team from last week and would of had a great chance to win the game as Arsenal were really poor and were there for the taking imo. Just bad luck I guess and hopefully we are in good shape for next week. Also, I hope The Rock can learn from his performance today because he really had a stinker.
  13. Might as well leave the facts out of it, some people just like to believe their own bullshit.
  14. This contract should hopefully be an important factor in getting another few players signed on new deals as it shows commitment to the future from the owner.
  15. Somebody please get this man a Keano Beard already
  16. He gets total respect from me for the dedication he has shown to Villa. We have gone through a couple of brutal seasons and imo not many managers would of kept us up. He has always tried to be positive and kept us moving forward despite all sorts of factors trying to hold us back. We now look to be in a good position for the future and he more than anyone deserves credit for that. I'm delighted with this new contract and am looking forward to seeing how we progress over the next few years. UTV
  17. Tbf to Bent he won the header to clear Liverpools corner in the 93rd minute and then chased Westwoods clearence up the pitch and forced them to play a hurried pass so he made a small contribution.
  18. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9471596/aston-villas-ashley-westwood-backed-for-england-call-by-paul-lambert “Westy’s a very clever player,” he told reporters. “He goes unnoticed, but it’s up to the England manager. “It was the same with Fabian Delph who got a chance and didn’t let anyone down. “For the two years I’ve been here Ashley has been so consistent and a lad that doesn’t get talked about because he makes the game look so easy at times.”
  19. YES! I find it amazing that people forget so quickly how dire the football has been over the past 2 seasons with him in charge? I find it pathetic that people can't see the budget constraints he's been working under and can't appreciate the fact that the strikers he spent decent money on were both out for the majority of the second half of last season and we were left with a thread bare squad and because of our decent results earlier in the season we still managed to stay up but don't give any credit for the fact that he managed to get results with a crap squad. Funny that I find it pathetic when people have to come up with the same old excuses to justify dull, passionless drivell as football or say well we beat ManCity but not mention the two thrashings by Fulham! Anyway we are both entitled to our own opinions so let's leave at that eh? Just one last thing, when does 'the same old excuses' become an actual fact and a reason as to why things went the way they did? Or is it not acceptable to have reasons(excuses in your case) as to why things happen at our football club?

  21. Some people can't see beyond their nose. Some of the posts over the last hour have been idiotic. It's like it all has to be the managers fault regardless of what really goes on at the club.
  22. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/09/15/celtic-loan-star-criticises-lack-of-chances-at-aston-villa/? Speaking to the Sunday Express, in quotes republished by the Royal Sutton Coldfield Observer, Tonev said: "I've got the skills to play for Villa, I just didn't get the chance to show what I'm capable of. "That’s why I told the manager I wanted to go, that I wanted to play. I can do really well as long as I’m fit, and this is a good chance for me."
