He could play in a back 3 imo but his lack of pace and his reliance on last ditch tackles are a major worry. He's a lot better than Clark who's days are numbered at this level I reckon as he has had plenty of chances and has basically got worse as a player.

I have doubts over him as a player and doubts over his attitude. He could come in thinking he's a big shot and cause some problems but tbh I trust Lambert and Keane to sign the right sort of player and will put my faith in their better judgement!

I find it strange how so many people rate this guy and have him down as a definite starter. He will have to earn his place like everyone else in the squad. On current form our midfield is beasting so he shouldn't be starting until he proves himself to be better than one of our current midfielders. What's he done in the past couple of seasons to be so highly thought of?

Guzan Hutton--Senderos--Vlaar--Cissokho The Rock Cleverley--Westwood--Delph Weimann Benteke Subs: Given,Okore,Bacuna,Richardson,Grealish,Gabby,Kozak. With Zog/Cole/Bent as really decent squad players who can push for a place in the squad and Baker/Clark/Herd/Lowton/Robinson as back-ups. I'd probably put Robinson ahead of Bent tbh.

I'd be happy with a loan for him. Gives us options when the loan is up and replaces KEA for now.

He makes it look so easy that sometimes it's hard too appreciate just how good he is. He is well capable of being our most creative player and their is a hell of a lot more to his game than just keeping it simple.!

It's gonna be hard to warm to him after what went on with his agent. He better score a hat-trick against Liverpool and then all will be forgiven.

That Swedish guy Kacaniklic who dived to win a peno against us is gone on loan to Copenhagen from Fulham. He would of been an ok pick up imo although it looks like we were never after a winger and were just trying to get a midfielder in.

I worry about us in midfield now, we will have to be lucky with injuries and hope our players stay in good form because outside of Delph, Westwood and Richardson we don't have a proven midfielder. We really need The Rock to come good.
