  1. Has anyone been on the RB forum to see how their rashica thread is coming along? Bet we are kicking their arses!
  2. He is indeed a proper athlete now compared to the chubby faced wee fella we saw make his debut. Its a bit like watching Cristiano Ronaldos physical development over the years and it's all credit to him to because it would be easy to settle and rely on his natural ability but, like Ronaldo, wants to improve. Unlike mcginn who seems to be emulating Brazilian Ronaldo judging by his post holiday snaps!
  3. He does seem to love nakamba. Imagine how heartbreaking it'll be if he signs with us then realises it was a part exchange deal for marvelous to go to bremen
  4. I guess we will be above a bunch of teams by goal difference with a game in hand for a week or so. Smith in!
  5. Pretty obvious at this point that he is waiting to see what the away and thirds kits look like before he chooses whether or not to sign
  6. Ah yes I think you are right. Excitement over
  7. thats a different top to the one shown above - and i dont see it in the training range in the club shop. Are we sure this isnt a third kit leak? also, the training gear this year is absolutely class - especially love the qtr zip tops. Dont know how i feel walking around with the word "cazoo" across my belly though. little bit dumb looking
  8. really want to sign this fella. I honestly dont remember the last all round proper number 9 type striker to play for this team. We've had big target men, speedy guys, ones who like to drift out wide, ones who like to play deep and collect the ball, link up men, young players with potential, the extravagant skilful foreign flair players etc. All I want is a good all round athlete who plays between the width of the 18 yard box and knows how to stick it in the back of the net. An Alan Shearer style fella who works hard will do me, and thats what I see in Watkins (and yes i know he can play wide and drift in etc but hopefully we buy him as an old fashioned striker who's job it is to score goals)
  9. Next week will see the start of the transfer merry go round I reckon. I reckon there's been something of a transfer amnesty up til now to let players agents and club officials the chance to get catch their breath after a weird and confusing season
  10. I'm sure villa are a much harder sell for rashica than RB. On the face of it we are a team who only got promoted last year and stayed up by the skin of our teeth. Rashica has just barely survived relegation on the last day with his current club and probably doesn't fancy having to do it all again. Villa will probably be having to share the message of their vision and ambition to any potential new player to make us more appealing
  11. All I know is that Jack would walk into that Barcelona team and I hope they don't realise it!
  12. Hopefully quietly and with a big net
  13. this better not spell the end of our German love affair - I need to hear where they stand on the great gravy debate
  14. everybody say "Hi Ashley" as he obviously lurks around in this forum!
  15. Yep. Plus we can also bust out the old "having Wesley back from injury will be like a new signing in itself"
  16. Well I was on the fence but now I want to sign him just cos someone else does. What's that about?
  17. Agreed. Rather than making leg breaking tackles he has an excellent ability of getting between the opponent and the ball or reading where a pass is going. Maybe not as spectacular as the stereotypical enforcer but equally effective
  18. Agree overall that drinks breaks need to go but will personally miss taking them literally as an excuse to get up and grab a beer
  19. that forest one is brilliant. wonder if their fans will complain as much as we did about the crest being so high
  20. the third kit looks like it should have unicorns flying around on it
