  1. From the interview he seems like a really positive and likeable guy. Just wish he'd slipped in a "Football Is Life".
  2. Not according to Swindon's manager but who knows. “The conversations that we’ve had are that they’ve taken Kaine back to see where he’s at, it’s not a case of taking him back and loaning him elsewhere." -Ben Garner They think it's possible that we'll take a look, and might send him back to Swindon if he's not ready.
  3. If we get four years out of him, that's more than we can say for any of our squad from four years ago. Jed Steer is the only one left. Four years is a very long time in football.
  4. Spending $25m to bring in a proven and experienced player to compete with a 26 year-old who only has one great season of PL football makes sense. That's what we did with Danny Ings. Glad to see us follow the same idea here.
  5. Cant help but think that if there's one player who'll benefit from an in-form Coutinho, it's Danny Ings.
  6. Wondered why my Nan went in for a hip replacement and came out with a Brazilian.
  7. Was mentioned in the BBC article on PC too. They don't usually drop names for no reason.
  8. Sky from Paw Patrol probably. The English one and the American one. I'm just watching.
  9. Stocky looking DM? Sign him up.
  10. Us fading Coutinho and signing Rashica for 142 million instead would be a poetic bookend...
  11. Checking to see who gets the pleasure of @Eamescompany in the centre circle.
  12. Your first post could apply to Danny Ings as much as PC. Originally my point was a bit of banter.
  13. A story in two posts. From the Danny Ings thread.
  14. Cash and Gilbert next season for RB. For a reality check on Kessler go spend a bit of time on the Swindon forum - I spent a chunk of my formative years there so still have some friends who are season ticket holders too. Started well and is considered a good League Two player, but not MOTM in any recent game and is viewed by some as "not a guaranteed starter". If this was a Sutton Utd loanee from Wolves with that feedback and we signed him, I doubt many would be saying he deserves a shot at the first team... Gilbert is literally leagues ahead of him.
  15. Right back? I'd bring Freddie back from loan to battle it out with the Polish Cafu...
  16. Yeah but the stat that they have an average of 1.6 points per game with him vs 0.5 without is pretty indicative of how important he is. Most teams can sustain a few injuries and not be absolute dog shit, but Leeds look lost.
  17. They're in trouble. If games go ahead they've got Liverpool next and they'll get taken to pieces. Then it'd be us - unfortunate that the game won't happen as they'll be at an absolute low. Really missing Phillips. And it's hilarious.
  18. Our bench tonight had four senior players (Axel, Hause, Ings, Trez) and five youth players, and it wasn't by choice. I don't think we have the depth for a European campaign while also trying to get higher than 8th.
  19. Yeah, to be clear - sometimes I just need to hear someone say "we get them Euro millions to so we can buy more nurses and I know it's true cos I saw it on a bus" before I can actually believe that's the reason for them doing something I don't agree with. I'd still like it if someone on here who owns ARs (or similar) sticks their head above the parapet to tell their side, but at the same time I get why they wouldn't.
  20. Stuart Gray. There's someone I'd forgotten had existed. Went undefeated.
