seeing as we dont really know what league we will be in next season (well, we do but alot of people are in denial) its along shot of who we should be linked with. however, over the next two windows, we need a new keeper, right back, centre back, left winger and a striker, with the following players shown the exit, Guzan, Bunn, Hutton, Richards, Richardson, NZogbia, Cole, Kozak and dare i say it, Agbonlahor.

we shouldn't be signing championship quality players, we should be signing premiership quality players that will accept spending one season in the championship, believe or not, there is players that will do this (although who i have no idea!) the one (of many) frustrating things about this club, is they always leave it late in every transfer window to get signings in, why? lets get business done, who is this transfer commitee?

sad thing is, he will keep getting game time.

could his awful form be partly down to the fact that hes left exposed and vulnerable most of the time by our inept captain?

has everyone forgotten about bennett? i never rated this lad as i he seemed small, weak and in need of a meal, but he seems to of hit the gym lately, i wonder if thats improved his ability

surely cissokho cant be any worst than richardson or bacuna at left back?

i think we are all looking at this wrong, some of here have said no point buying prem players, some have said we should buy championship players, however... surely buying chump players we will then struggle to get out of that league? so surely buying prem quality players that would be willing to come to us and accept a season in the championship will help us get back up quicker? if loic is willing to come to us then so be it, however chelsea have stated that there will be no loan option on him at all, he might be an average prem player but he and ayew will be class in the championship and that is exactly what we need to get back up.

when negotiating contracts i always give the player what he wants but way under cut the agent, they dont deserve sh*t, the cancer of football.

we have so many average players, its difficult to pin point who should be starters, and who should be dumped in the reserves.

liked him for the first few months, now i cant stand him, shouldnt be playing centre back and shouldnt be captain, id prefer to see hutton at CB with the captaincy than another games with richards there again...

i saw a tweet yesterday (think from my old man) basically stating that liverpool have paid £32.5m to relegate villa, then i thought, ye, thats sounds about right, the midlands has always been f*cked over by the scouse pr*cks, and this is yet another way weve been done over again. maybe im being a little over dramatic, but it is extremely frustrating. i dont doubt at all that this guy is very good, but how would we know if he isnt being played? for all we know, he could be the brick wall we need in defence, but instead we have to put up with dross like hutton, richards, clark and richardson.

does anyone else play this? long serving game, which alot to do and going on. i was introduced to it by a work colleague who has been playing it for 10 years, ive only been playing it a couple of months now.

another problem with loans, i feel it can alienate players, ie, signing a right back on loan when you have 2 already in the first team, must make them both think they aren't good enough, which can then lead to reduced morale.

at the very beginning, put all your players on looong contracts, they cant do sh*t then. also, im guessing im the only one who cheats (a little) then? ;-)

had the game, chopped it in for mad max, found the game far too slow for me, plus, i hate horses.

i dont like loans, the only problem with loans, is that youre paying for players you cant keep, as well as bringing the fitness up and experience of players for other teams, kyle walker being a prime example.

my head is spinning in the sense of who is worth keeping and who should the shown the exit door, although RG clearly has the much bigger headache than any of us. regardless, we need a new keeper, right back, centre back, centre mid, left winger and at least 2 strikers, this just isnt do-able.

problem is, traore, gil, grealish and even bacuna are right wingers. we have sinclair, richardson, nzogbia and even gabby who can play left wing, to which, they are all sh*t.

signing bunn was pointless, however, guzan is as good as championship quality now, and clearly steer isnt ready were doomed

wasnt that the proviso when he came here that he would be playing centre back and not right back was the only reason why he would come here?

so seeing as this is the clark thread, as weve all agreed that hes rubbish in this league and is going to be rubbish in the championship, next question is, how much is he worth?
