i really like gabby, i know we arent getting many goals from him, but hes got pace and intelligence, hes still useful, and i like how hes only been with villa, i hope he remains at the club till he retires, that loyalty doesnt come around too often nowadays with footballers. i see theres mixed opinions of him on here, my opinion is he should be utilised elsewhere, like on the wing

are we done spending yet? clearly not all of tims signing will be starters, but to fit the right players in is going to be a headache i think we now have too many players on the books now

i dont actually see the point in selling senderos, to buy another 31 yr old for more money as a back up from southampton, when we all know richards and clark will be the main paiting this season and also have okore, baker and donacien as back ups?

so, let me get this right, we, as in aston villa fc, relegation fodder for the last god knows how many years as ive lost count, have signed one of spains hottest prospects from barcelona, one of the biggest teams in the world? yeah right!...

The game for me is all about two's.....little pairings all over the pitch......except the goalkeeper of course. Unless we manage to gain dispensation from the league.....2 goalkeepers, we might have a chance.....just joking. i agree with this, however, just to up it a notch, i think pairings work even better at a club when that same pairing is at international level as well, impossible i know for most clubs

like any other transfer the club has ever made, ill believe it when hes holding up a villa shirt at bodymoor heath infront of the national press, however, to be linked with a barcelona player, just wow! were now actually buying players that will have a resale value, so even if they decided to do a 'delph', we would make a profit. one thing though, if its true that barcelona (cant believe im typing that!) want a buy back clause, that would mean that he would become a world beater whilst with villa (thats never happened before) so the clause would have to be use, ie, at least 4 times the amount

i read somewhere that there's no call back option i hope there's a future for him a villa, but the kid has to believe in himself and make it

funny thing is, most of us have already made our opinion up of what we would like to see, but its clear tim hasn't finished buying yet :-D

have we ever chased the title? it's a 4 horse race between man utd, city, chelsea and arsenal (with liverpool, everton and tottenham behind) 10th will be our best, our time of a 6th place finish is over

never before have i lost track of transfer rumours within a window, i think that's a good thing. with how sherwood is working, he's not giving himself any options come january, another thing to consider, we may have sold more than what we've made, but surely transfer fees, agent fees and signing on fees have out-weighed the balance of kitty? i know it's not our concern and we should be excited, but we all know that we have a chairman as stingy as doug ellis, and the spending doesn't seem to be slowing down. #headspin

When Delph first broke into the first team, i wasn't impressed with him all the way into last season where he really proved himself and proved me wrong (shame he turned into a Judas) i definitely wasn't impressed with Bennett when we first signed him or thought he was any good at all, however, again i'm willing to be proved wrong, at the end of the day, being a football player is his job and regardless of the job, you should aim to do the best of your abilities, i want him to prove my opinions wrong.

From what i've been reading on here the past few weeks, i'm starting to come to the opinion that although Bacuna seems to be a good player who works hard, we haven't really got a purpose for him. First choice right back seems to be Hutton at the moment, we've bought Crespo to be back up right back. and we have Gil, Grealish, Gabby, Ayew and even Green who can play right wing.

easiest way to win games... become the manager of the team youre about to play, put out a youth side (i expand on this by sacking all the coaching staff) job done im simultaneously playing as small heath in my villa file, theyve not won a game yet and are relegated to league 2 :-)

with a little cheating and £700m in the bank, ive won everything with villa except the champions league which made benteke want to leave so i sold him to man city (and delph to liverpool) my only signings have been stephen henderson, bas dost, ricky van wolfswinkel, rohan ince, ryan inniss, jamie ashmore and callum saunders (dean saunders is my assistant manger)

behind gestede, ayew, kozak and gabby, id like to see robinson, sellers and hepburn-murphy given a chance instead of signing adebayor £100k per week for a fifth choice striker is a joke

no numbers for siegrist, cissokho or tonev surprised sellers hasnt been given a number

with the amount of defensive line ups most people are posting, i'm guessing you don't plan on winning many games then?
