it was one game after international week. Quite a few teams have a dip in form or just dont seem "there" after an international period. And of course, lolvariance. It was literally just one game. We showed fight in the other games weve played under sherwood. Think some of you are being very over dramatic. If theres no "fight" against QPR...then yeh complain

Thats an incredibly simplistic view point when it comes to football. For Robinson to even be mentioned there is pretty lol. Im sure bent would have made such a difference in the united game..... how is this confusing? whos going to be better at handling Fellani and his height/strength in midfield...Westwood or sanchez? You adapt and it isnt as simple as "sanchez played bad vs X therefore shouldnt play against Y". Players will play better or worse often depending on the personal of the other team and not just their own ability.

i just dont understand how people think bent would ever been effective under lambert when all our attacking threat was only through the strikers own ability (well mostly benteke) and hardly any supply from midfield. And when you have 1 striker who can only kick the ball in the net (he was pretty poor at this at the opportunities he got though towards the end, but lolsample sizes ofc) and offers nothing more, it becomes a waste of a shirt in such a system. I honestly believe if bent was a first team player or a regular sub we would be relegated. Obviously tactics has changed under sherwood so he may (and should) be a bit more effective, still think hes past it though for anyone trying to achieve mid table. Also imo, using logic of "hutton has been good therefore bent could be" when bent has had chances to prove himself in premiership and didnt deliver is just bad logic and reaching . But this argument has gone round in circles many many times

Makes sense and the players you mentioned situations arnt close to this one Will do better under sherwood approach to football but still dont want. doubt it has anything to do with "name" and that people just think Allardyce is a better manager (Which of course, is understandable). Weird when i see posts turning their nose at Allardyce "predictable and only mid table in the future" like thats a bad thing for us at the moment. Weve been fighting relegation for past few years...give me comfortable mid table for a few years which allows to grow anyday. People are just a little worried about sherwood tactical naivety which is a legit concern. We will see more over the next few weeks i guess . Nothing has looked semi comfortable for us at the moment (only sunderland because theyre the biggest pile of slowness crap i seen all season). All other results has huuuuuuuuge variance in them. he can not finish at all. The amount of shots which he "scuffs" is ridiculous. Imo he is one of the worst players in our squad. Infact, he might even be the worst (ignoring the obvious youth players). He basically does what defoe does, head down as far as possible and just tries to hit the ball as hard as he can and prays it goes somewhere.....At least defoe can actually hit the ball cleanly a decent amount though. And when he does try to place it, he must have one of the weakest shots for a striker in the prem. the literally only thing hes good at is running
