Watkins hussle coming clutch as usual
-
Bellingham really thinks he's Zidane huh
-
I hate when players do that. Chilwell got skinned fair and square but couldn't take it so he had to pull the winger back.

This is horrendous to watch. I'm just here for Ezri and Youri

Lewis "Lunge" Dunk strikes again

Jonathan Pearce: "It's 1-0 England!"
-
Yeah it's hardly a funny pivot when you are Joey **** Barton
-
He's a very obvious troll

Oof, kryptonite for certain folks...who I'm not sure exist to the same degree in Germany?

What is that kit supposed to represent?

Looks nothing like either. Closest thing it resembles is the bisexual flag. If Nike have reiterated that it's nothing to do with any of that, but to celebrate the last and only England team to win anything, I'm perplexed as to why the outrage doesn't stop there. Unless the implication is they're lying and are secretly trying to turn everyone gay? In which case, nobody would have even known about the resemblance unless they made such a big fuss about it in the first place. Can't say most people are super well versed in the various pride flags. People would have heard "1966 training kit" and said oh okay and kept it moving. Because it's a bloody football shirt, and there are countless more important things in life to spend calories on.
-
If it was really about changing the flag they wouldn't be harping about "woke" this and "woke" that. The reason they are is because they actually think it's the bisexual pride flag
-
I'm dying, the whole time I thought the outrage was because it was meant as a nod to the LGBTQ flag (still dumb but it at least makes sense for them to be mad about), but it turns out it's not even that? It's a callback to an old training kit What are these people even mad about anymore? Grown men being outraged over a flag. I thought that was a uniquely American malaise. Jfc.

I'd love for him to do it obviously, but it's quite crazy that Ollie Watkins could become our all time leading scorer in the PL era after just 4 1/2 seasons and cracking the 15 goal barrier just once. We've either been really shit or we haven't been able to retain the great strikers we've had. *checks notes* It's both actually.

Very clean!

I'd be bricking it going into the season with just that. We'd have been screwed this season without Lenglet, and he wouldn't even be on this shortlist (he's 5th).

Football fans are so precious. More than happy to dish it out but if a player responds with but a fraction of their vitriol, they clutch their pearls.

We're a better team with him in it but my God is he not one of the most frustrating players to watch when he's on the ball. I always just feel anxious.

Missing today: Kamara Carlos McGinn Ramsey And that's just from players who have played this season, and not mentioning Mings or Buendia. The rest of that lot have played 3 times this week. 5 times in 14 days. He's having to juggle keeping them as fresh as humanly possible. Squeaking out a point away at West Ham is actually really good.
-
I will gladly take that. We just never win here. West Ham with European aspirations but playing like Sheffield United, at home. I see why their fans are mad and want Moyes out.

Drawing tomorrow is not looking so bad a prospect right now. A win would be amazing, but we never win there, so a hard fought point like last season would keep us at arm's length away from Spurs.

Throw in away to Chelsea in the middle there for Spurs. We have very similar games. Both play Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and City, both play West Ham away, etc. This will definitely go down to the wire you'd imagine.

The worm scene in IMAX was probably the first time where I felt like I was in a movie. I wasn't just hearing the sound, but it was pulsating throughout my body. I've been to 4DX movies less immersive.

You would think we were Fergie's Man Utd the way our fans can't seem to take a loss, instead of a team that has a losing record and a negative goal difference over the last 20 years.

Hope he can put it right this week. Win against West Ham and Ajax and we're still chugging along nicely. Spurs' game in hand is against Chelsea lest we forget, so it's not a foregone conclusion. We're still very much in the driving seat of our own destiny.
