In theory I'm sort of with you but name one song by a brummie band that 5000 plus people would know all the words to? I'd love us to all sing the chorus to 'Come on lets go' by Birmingham's best modern band, broadcast. However I doubt more than one of them 5k travelling fans have ever heard it!

Cant believe hes dismissed as shit, as others have stated I think it was more to do with the team be was playing in. He looks very tidy with fiorentina because they are set up to play actual football, where players wearing the same shirt as you MOVE into space to give you different passing options to keep the ball. Something we have struggled with for years. Could do with him now as are far too light on numbers in the middle, if tish and Westwood get injured, we have to play only 2 in the middle...

Richards as a right back at this level should be fine. 4-4-1-1 I think.

If the choice is really down to Bruce or Clarke, maybe we can wait a couple of games to see if Clarke can have an immediate effect on the tactics/squad. If he manages to put a balanced team out that wins a couple on the bounce I'm not sure how much I'd want Bruce. On the other hand spudhead has been around a bit at this level and been successful. I would have liked for us to have had a punt on someone younger than either of them myself but right now we really can't be too picky or we could be talking about getting out of League One.

Hmmm, no chance for Smith? Value in laying Bruce at evens? Will it not be him? Nowhere near as easy to bet on as last time after the wyness appointment! That was free money...
