  1. Adem Ljajic would murder this league if he gets anywhere near soem of the form he showed with Roma. He was inconsistent but unplayable at times.
  2. Unhooked on the left the difference between a duck. Why is a mouse when it spins?
  3. Yeah Dr Tony's definition seems to translate to "one who plays international football" rather than my own "would get into a world XI".
  4. Was at Fulham too, promised much comgin through at Roma but it hasn't really happened for him.
  5. carolinesummer08 needs her head examined
  6. Bennet's wage's are nowhere near the levels of Lescott's I'd imagine. Subsidising Lescott effing off should be a different case to Bennet IMO. Richards is ther with Lescott and Gabby too, anything for them to go now is acceptabe, including cancelling of contracts....
  7. Hmmm, I would argue it's getting a bit late for that now and that his best chance of doing it would have been here in Italy where the club takes an interest in every aspect of a players life and tries to make sure they have a perfect diet, environment etc. to flourish he will have had support staff dedicated to his integration here even at the shambles which is Lazio.
  8. Thie links were all over the place here in italy but in June, we'd not been mentioned in connection until 3 days ago, then calciomercato and some others reported that we were close. For me too much of a gamble. Keita has missed training with Lazio, now that would be a good signing....
  9. *makes italian cornutto gestures at your avatar for 5 whole minutes while swearing*
  10. Isn't Pat Murphy still butthurt his great mate Martin O'Neill left?
  11. Not seen much of him, he has a great reputation over here though pulling the strings in front of the defence and creating from there. If he's half as good as what's said about him then he'd be a great signing for us. We've just got Jedinak and Tshibola though to play in front of the back four. So unless they want to push him up the field a bit I think we'd be looking elsewhere. Berardi scores a lot for Sassuolo if we're after a forward. Cristante is a tidy midfielder at Pescara, Parigini who's just gone to Chievo lots of people are talkgin about as a great signing he was at Perugia in Serie B... loads of good value over here I reckon.
  12. Yeah, there's more there for us though, Pescara, Sassuolo and Chievo are clubs with less resources than us by miles and have some good young talent.
  13. Hernandez means Dr Tony thinks world class means "plays international football", which is a few steps down from my own definition but hey, Hernandez would be good for us IMO.
  14. how many l's in official? and how many tweets have AVFCOfficial really made? you decide.
  15. He's another one who could go either way, bags of talent but apparently bags of ego. Maybe the penalty might let his humble side grow and make him work harder. Deffo a talent though, I like him.
  16. In theory we can match the wages of almost any side in serie A, even in this division. I would definitely be up for us trying to tempt some young and up and coming players here. Look at Romagnoli going to Milan, he had only just broke through with Roma but you could see he was class, a move like that would be doable for us if we were scouting U-21 and U-19 sides here.
  17. On the Balotelli tip, Donadoni has hinted interest and Lazio aren't denying interest. Whilst being a mentalist, I think he needs to be a hero somewhere and be universally loved in order to play to his potential. Something he hasn't managed at the big clubs, a move down the leagues and him hitting form could have the desired end result. He had the ability to be truly great, it's whether he hasn't already wasted it and how arsed he would be to actually be arsed to be the hero at a smaller club. I'm not suggesting we should take the gamble by the way, I'd rather we used the money on younger more mentally stable talent. However, if, and it's a monumental if, the above situation clicked, it would be beyond awesome.
  18. surely world class would rule that out?
  19. haha, saw the round version of the great man in a milan shirt in the san siro, I swear he never even broke into a trot, or out of the center circle!! Played everything one touch though...
  20. Let's see how he goes in the same side as Jedinak, could be great for him to just concentrate on what he does best. Jedinak can do the dirty work and give it to westwood when we want to hold on to the ball. I don't mind him being anonymous and keeping us the ball at all, as long as that is his only job. Jedinak can be an enforcer and someone else can be more creative and dynamic, westwood can just be the glue no worries.
