  1. yeah he gto a right earfull when he left it for Hutton to deal with
  2. and I'm all for playing compact and squeezing the game inot a managable space, but doing it between the 18 yard line and 10 yards further upfield is asking for trouble surely
  3. whilst shit and winning is way better than shit and losing, the only stable and constant factor is shitness.
  4. We were pretty shit with occasional moments of footballing clarity, Surely the getting worse after half time thing isn't possible so we must get better?
  5. cue Johnstone goalkeeping howler before half time!
  6. classy, first touch on the nads and then heads it in as calm as you like. ball control.
  7. all the more reason for the 4-1-4-1....
  8. I liked the 3-5-2, I think we DO have the players for it, or a 3-4-3. Not convinced 4-3-3 is right for us though, we looked good with a 4-1-4-1 and I think we could do a decent 4-1-3-2 as well as it goes. So that's 3 or 4 different shapes we could be perfecting at bodymoor so we have a plan A,B and C. Nice to dream I spose!
  9. Diarra can be class but probs a free agent for a reason, and if they cancelled his contract halfway through a season, a bad one? Now my anger after the Newcastle game has subsided and Bruce is still here, I'd say for me if he can get us on a run where we average 2 points a game more or less then he'll have earned the right to stay and have a crack next year. He can't keep losing and stay though surely, when it gets to 1 point from 30 (could be a couple of games from now) then that is a piss take with the squad at his disposal.
  10. Yep the ony positives have now turned into negatives, when he came in we were immediatly much harder to beat, now we are back to just giving it away.
  11. Even under MON (who was more motivator than tactician in my book) there was no plan B, now plan A is pretty hard to distinguish. Changing it every couple of weeks doesn't really help. We are a million miles off a player not even having to look and knowing he'll find a player there because it's second nature. Good teams have that. I can't remember the last time we did.
  12. 1 from 24, 2 from 27 I think. could easily become 2 from 30 too though. That form across a season and we'd scrape double figures and get relegated. Personally, I don't think there's a league in the world where a coach keeps his job after that kind of form.
  13. So you think we've got to go down another level first or what?
  14. Yep, you'd think just random chance over a 9 game run with the players we have would result in at least one win. The fact we have a well paid coaching staff doing worse than hoping to chance would get us is the last straw for me. Lose next game and it's 0 from 18 with a goals for column that is nothing short of embarrassing.
  15. Had he got a win in the last few games maybe, not now, we can't score and we can't get a point. We need a new manager to not be in league one next season.
  16. 2 points from 27. Defend that if you like, I'm not going to. Get rid, and the whole coaching staff. We could replace them with dead badgers and get a better points return from 9 games.
  17. Standout player by miles was Hutton, which seeing his limitations as a footballer should be enough of a warning sign. Game riddled with mistakes all over the pitch, a couple in the box cost us the 0-0 win. **** it, Bruce out.
  18. **** me, that's horrendous. I'm all for giving a manager time but there isn't a league int eh world where you keep your job after that run surely.
  19. Yeah I wondered about that, their keeper looked more worried.
