    I just think Dean wants options. He will sometimes play a 3 behind Ollie and 2 holders and at other times a 4-3-3.

    I think we are focusing on the ACM role. Once this is hopefully sorted and we know where we are, we will move on to our other targets. I still think we will make 3 more signings. Some of that may also be dependent on 1 or 2 leaving. Lots of plate spinning to be undertaken yet!

    I would be amazed if Tammy has the career that some think he is capable of. I genuinely think that he is an average premier league striker and anyone prepared to pay big money for him is getting mugged off. Give me Ollie over him every single day of the week. He was great for us in the Championship but we have moved on now.

    It seems like years that we have needed a strong, fast, athletic defensive midfielder. I really hope that it gets addressed this summer. The thought of SJM filling in there makes me shudder. It really seems to be a bit of a blind spot for Deano. I hope he proves me wrong.

    This is so true. Not enough has been made of Safegate’s squad selection. I have picked the best x players in the country nonsense! You pick a balanced squad that offers a varied tactical approach! That team was desperate for a 9 who could run in behind and basically chase down the defenders in possession. Sir Harry of Kane was great for 30 minutes but disappeared up his own ass after that!

    Jack Grealish is a man who thrives on pressure and loves to be centre stage. He would have taken all five penalties given the choice. This is on Gareth and nobody else. Sadly, we will now have another 18 months of this to endure before there is even the slightest chance of an actual manager coming in to replace him!

    I think it’s unfair to say a significant portion. A few thousand in 50 odd million is not a lot. As for the embarrassing small minority, I couldn’t agree more. They never miss an opportunity to let us down. It’s utterly depressing!

    Safegate got totally schooled by Roberto. Good manager with inferior players wins. This tit has had two easy runs that we will never see in our lifetime again and messed them both up. He will be treated like a hero rather than the charleton that he is. Total effing tool.

    Thoroughly depressing scenes. We all knew that it would happen but you just hope that the sobering events of the past 18 months might just give people a different perspective on life. Sadly not. I hope if any of them turn up at their local A&E’s later, in desperate need of care, they are told to eff right off! Of course that won’t happen and the real heroes will mop up again.

    That line up aligned with the usual Safegate tactics make it highly likely that Jack will be seeing some action in the final. I just hope that the situation is still salvageable when he arrives.

    Tim Vickery described him as being classy and bright. If you watch his YouTube clips, you can really see what he means. He is an unbelievable decision maker and his execution is spot on. You can really see him working brilliantly with Jack and Emi, threading the ball through to Ollie. Get your cash in Ollie to be top scorer now!

    I’ve just been watching his highlights from last season. Apart from the fact that he is absolutely ace and a bit of a character, what really sticks out is the breadth of his game. He makes all saves. He doesn’t appear to have any weaknesses. What were Arsenal playing at for all of these years?

    Surely we will be trying to tie Emi down to a big contract now. Another 5 years from now with a big pay rise. He will be in demand and his current contract probably leaves us a little exposed. He totally deserves a massive pay rise. The bloke just keeps delivering. He also will have massively raised our profile in South/Central America over the past month. He is worth every single penny.

    I know that our owners talk about real ambition. I know that we have really progressed over their 3 year tenure but after all the false dawns it’s still hard to sometimes accept that their ambitions are real. I am really starting to believe it now though. We seem to be strong arming some pretty big clubs at the moment and I absolutely love it. Top 4 in the next few years, all of a sudden seems a real possibility. UTV

    He looks lacking in confidence to me. Southgate is killing him. We need to get him back to VP where Dean can get him back to his best.

    If Grealish can’t get in the starting eleven, England must be absolutely amazing and should win this at a canter followed by a convincing win against Italy. No. I don’t think that either!

    That’s some statement. Foden is very good but he is not Grealish class. They are also very different players. What about Neymar, Mbappe, and the like?
