I have a feeling that he will start tomorrow. He seems really happy and relaxed and that makes me think he is in. I really hope so because he is our best bloody player. -
I feel so happy and excited by the Buendia signing. We can just chill now and see what else unfolds. Even if we sign nobody else, which won’t happen, I will still be so excited by the prospect of Ollie, Jack, Emi and Bert together. Good times.

I think our interest in Sarr is real. It’s much more likely that we are after him than JWP. I hope we can do the deal. He could be worth £100m in three years.

We’ll have an amazing first half of a season where we will be top 4. We will then go 10 games without a win and 95% of VT will be suicidal, especially me. We will then finish the season with a flourish, finishing 7th. Some unfortunate individual will then start a Rashica thread and the fish puns will commence.

I think the reference to Mane was regarding his status as a star rather than as a similar player. He is a bit Toure for sure but with some Viera bite. If he is half as good as either I’m in.

I would be so excited by this signing. The kid looks like a young Viera who was one of my favourite all time players. Make it happen Deano.

I don’t think we are in for him. It just doesn’t feel right. I think we may have leaked this to aid our position with another player. I’m certain that we did exactly the same with McNeil to assist a deal for Buendia. Would not be surprised to see this die down and we secure another centre mid shortly after. Hopefully Bissouma.

I think he will start next week. I’m not sure why but I think he will. To be fair nobody else is fit to lace his boots. He is a class or two above. -
Not sure why Norwich think they are competition for us. We got 55 points last season. They have only bettered that total in the Premier League once, in it’s very first season, where they finished third! I remember it all too well. Even then we still finished two points ahead of them in second place.

I’ve watched all of the streams and I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Amongst all the perfect footwork, beautifully weighted passes off both feet and great goals, I did not witness a single ass shield. McGinn will not be impressed! Emi out!!

The fact that we are having the conversation is amazing and a real sign of how far we have come. This time last year it would not even have been a possibility that we could prove to be more attractive than Arsenal. I think it’s 50:50 now. Each team can make an attractive offer. It’s all about what floats his boat.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we had bid, maybe £25m and Norwich have leaked this story to create some uncertainty and also drum up some interest all with the goal to increase our bid. I doubt Arsenal have the funds or appetite to bid at this stage. May be an interesting few days. I have to say that I really want this now. The more I think about it the more it makes sense. The natives over on the Pinkun are not happy either. Their 12 little fingers are working overtime typing out their fear that he ends up at Villa. They do not like us for some reason!

No way will Arsenal out bid us. It will come down to where he thinks he will be best suited. Arsenal are still a big draw for sure but we can compete now. I would say 60:40 in their favour. All to play for.

It’s a great thing until you get to an age where you become the banker and get regular visits not only from your own kids but your parents too!! I believe it’s called payback!

Mings does suffer from the odd rush of blood but he has been class for us. He is a leader, a great player and a top human being. I’ve said it before but I really believe that him signing on loan was the real catalyst for our resurgence. He loves our club and is clearly proud to wear the shirt. Him wearing his villa kit and medal on the train home shows what it means to him. Top, top man.

Is it 2 days until his buy back clause runs out? Looks very unlikely that it will be taken advantage of now. Good news in my view. I think he needs a rest and he will be really good come the start of the season.

They need to sell to buy. He won’t be in the manager’s immediate plans. He only has two years left on his contract. As last summer proved Arsenal are Purslow’s bitches when it comes to negotiation. I would say it’s absolutely possible.
