I don't agree that Bent was a bad influence, but maybe this thread should be about Nicklas. I really hope he gets his chance. He's a real player (one day).

I see what you're saying, and kind of agree. But then I'm left thinking: what does he really do to close out a game? And why send out an attacker to close out a game?

Slowly and unnoticed, the guy improves every game.

It's not clear yet who is our RB going forward. Bacuna has performed very well and I like him a lot. However, it won't take too many bad games for Bacuna and Lowton will get his chance. I hope this doesn't happen, but it's just been a few games yet for Leandro.

Funny how I was just about to write the opposite. He does nothing really for me. He's not bad, but he's not good either. I have to follow him to notice him on the pitch. Other than set pieces, I don't know what his role exactly is. Again, I don't think he's bad. But something's missing maybe?

I too hope fans stay with him in spite of some of those horrific crosses he has displayed lately. He is good, works hard, and is needed.

You mean he'll fit in well with the others? It's funny when he comes on and we await the atomic strike. I expect him to entertain us. Other than that he doesn't provide us anything that a mid level champions league player couldn't.

Hmmm ok, was a little surprised by your comment. I think he's vital to us because of our lack of firepower, and am not sure if less so at home. We already have Andi who is not playing that well, but who has no quality back up. I'm not sure Gabby has either.

I hate it when they play the ball back to Guzan so much and from so deep in the attacking zone too. Is Guzan our best passer?
