  1. Oh yeah? Not one of my brightest moments But I think we'll squeeze out a narrow win 0-1 or 1-2.
  2. And he's miles ahead of Tonev anyways now that Gabby's out and Andi's out of form.
  3. Maybe Lowton will get a chance now that Luna and Bennett are out. Likely not though. With Gabby out Andi has to play. Then it's either Kozak or Tonev in Gabby's place. I don't know which I'd like.
  4. Antonio out for a few weeks! I don't like this... Baker it is I suppose, hope we don't get behind since Baker is not very useful going forward.
  5. What's it mean? And how do I get more? I should probably know this, but i don't...
  6. Reading some threads today that is what people expect to happen...
  7. Quite a turnaround - from best player one page ago to unworthy of first back-up duties behind Vlaar and Okore!
  8. At least we didn't play hoofball today.
  9. I don't agree with anything here. If anything he's too careful with his passes forward and easily passes back to Guzan, but I can live with that. I don't know why he didn't start today. Baker being better against more physical opponents is bull in my mind. And Baker surely wasn't good against Spurs. Generally I expect next season's CB duo to be Clark - Okore. With Vlaar added every now and then. Baker is the fourth choice. Clark being 1st choice worries me massively. He has made costly mistakes and personally I think he's too slow and clumsy to be a decent CB. I think he could be half decent in midfield though. Baker would star ahead of Clark all day for me. No nonsense defender and you know what you're going to get from him, which you can't say about CC Sorry for my overly defensive post above benireduk. BTW, how big is Clark's foot? Looks like a massive canoe.

Well, I like to think that both Clark and Vlaar are good enough, and we have very good competition from Baker and Okore when he's healthy again. So no, not clearly in my opinion.
  11. Voted for Delph, but other than him difficult to say who did better than others, I thought they were pretty even. Poor performance by Benteke, hope he is ok next week. Luna was also poor, as was Baker especially after switching to Luna's place. Tonev was funny a couple times, flying up in the air when beng tackled. He made some good plays too, I'll give him that. And Helenius, who I've wanted to be given a chance, didn't do anything.
  12. I thought today was a step forward in our home form. End result aside, there were a lot of positives, and in all fairness we should've at least picked up a point. It was clearly our best home effort so far. All we needed was an in-form Benteke, which we didn't have.
