How did you book the Opera tickets and which one did you go to? I'll be in Vienna in May, and really want to go to an Opera there.

And people are going to still moan about Dean saying we have the best team in the league and should be winning every match.

If we really were going to throw 8 million on that other player, give it to bournemouth for Mings. Mings, Elphick, Chester, and hopefully Tuanzebe would be just fine for next season.

I don't like it. I played for about an hour last night. Couldn't find a 3rd friend to play with so it was myself, a friend, and some random every time. The random would just leave us immediately and get killed. We tried following the random guy one time, and we ended up running for 8 minutes only to get killed from behind. I don't understand damage. I found a guy crouching behind a box, so I unloaded into him with an automatic, and he turned around and one hit me.

Dean picks him. Don’t blame Conor. He plays the way he has always played. He isn’t going to suddenly become a new player under dean Conor is in the height of his career and largely has done well for us. It’s awful to boo our own player because he does not suit the new manager. He didn’t have a good match, but we’d been much lower in the table if it weren’t for Conor.

What did he do to you? He just isn’t good enough so yea **** him let’s boo him. I don’t understand the logic. Dean picks him each match.

Says a lot about the supporters to boo off a player. Conor has done nothing to deserve that treatment. Rightfully was subbed off but to boo him?

I really don't even know what XI would get us the win here. I want to see a 4-4-2 or a 4-2-3-1 with El Ghazi as the #10. So many of our players are subpar.

His first touch was so bad, his decision making was even worse, and his passing was hit and hope. Hause is not the player we need now or next season. Would rather see us try our own youth because they cannot be worse than Hause has been in his 2 appearances.

The issue is no one else is even coming close to what Grealish can do in that role though. El Ghazi has similar attributes as grealish, but El Ghazi's passing is considerably worse. I still think it would be smart to give him a try at #10. El Ghazi is probably our biggest X factor right now, so might as well give him freedom and see what he can do. It's better than forcing McGinn to play that role, or watching Hourihane there.

Carroll as Grealish's replacement? They are very different, but anyway, will we ever see Carroll play again?

I think a 4-4-2 with Kodjia in for Hourihane would work. We need someone to hold the ball up top, and Kodjia can at least do that.

So you're saying we are truly f*cked? Last season Thor-Conor were a pairing in a 4-4-2 and so was Conor-Whelan for a while, and it worked well. We actually went on a great run.

Alright I get it now. Conor isn't doing much to impose himself in midfield. Feel like it's gotten worse these past few matches. I've defending him for a while, but he is a luxury player that we can't afford to be fielding right now. I think a flat 4-4-2 with McGinn-Whelan as the CMs is the best bet. Conor as a sub seems smart.

Wow there is overreaction, then there is this. My main complaint of Dean is he is stubborn. He wants to play with his formation, and currently we don't have the players for it. He is trying to force a system that doesn't work with these players. But for yesterday's subs, I really don't know what you expected? He brought Green on for Adomah which was probably the smartest sub, but then El Ghazi got immediately hurt. What was he going to do? Sub Kodjia for El Ghazi? Elmo was our only winger left so that's why he subbed 2 wingers. Look at the team. What are Dean's options? Outside of Tammy, no one is scoring. How does he fix that? He has given Kodjia numerous chances, but Kodjia isn't doing it. Hogan has been poor for a while so he sent him on loan. Our wingers aren't consistent so he is switching it up, and still gets called out for it. Dean has tried a lot of different players, but it's not working. At some point we have to look at the squad and realize most are at the end of their careers, and just cannot do what Dean needs of them.

That bar we met at was quite nice. I vaguely remember that day. The whiskeys were so cheap compared to what I am used to, and my wife just kept them coming.

This game has been so painful to watch. Somehow we have done well to keep their chances to basically nothing though.

Not writing green off at all. Green is young and has talent, but we need someone like El Ghazi who can create chances. Adomah has been poor all season, and Kodjia isn't a winger. Green and El Ghazi are okay options.

I think every team needs a luxury player. El Ghazi is an x factor. Sincce Grealish has been out, he has created the most chances for us. Would you rather have Green and Adomah on the wings?
