Well after a rather uninspiring game at swansea we have to try and get something from man utd. i really hope we don't line up like against tottenham because that just doesn't work and we will lose definitely. the team i would like to play: given herd clark dunne warnock nzog jenas petrov bannan gabby bent PLEASE PLEASE NO HESKEY HE DOES NOTHING. lets face it though hutton and collins will be there but i really hope bannan and jenas start. they like to pass the ball forward which is a nice change. would like to see albrighton eventually as well. wasted on the bench. get a point and ill be very happy.

just seen highlights and i am so gutted not to get 3 points especially with the goal coming so late. ** Bent missed a great chance today and he has to be scoring them. he had enough time to power and place it right but yet again misses a great chance. must do better ** Heskey in midfield is ridiculous WHY WHY WHY??? what does he offer there. all heskey can offer us now is coming off the bench for the last 10 mins and hold the ball up. surely clark, ireland, delph or jenas is better there. it was also heskeys pass that led to there first goal(that was not a foul on nzogbia) and then they pass it round him as he offers no cover. do NOT want to see him in the 1st team next week. ** defence wise dont know what to say really dunne, collins, warnock was part of the defence that was great in the MON era but now i dont know if there getting on, not been trained correctly or just not good enough anymore. its just not working. this is what led to there 2nd goal with collins not tracking his man properly and in the 90th minute surely when you have the lead thats when you make sure no one gets in front of you ** overall it doesnt sound like were the most interesting team to watch over 90 mins but were getting most the job done just need to stop conceeding. once again we need the win against norwich.

didnt watch all the game but so pissed off at the result. we were in the lead and i think would of won and because of a stupid refereeing decison we leave with no points, a suspension for a player who i think is a player who is really up for it and i think rock bottom confidence. sunderland is a must win game in my opinion. would of accepted a point today with what happened but to lose and not even have a go. i watched the last 20 mins and it was shocking. nothing not even a look at goal and resorted to lumping up front and the lump who should of been up there ( heskey) was for some weird reason in midfield. cuellar really isnt the defender some people make him out to be. he lacks pace and for a big bloke gets so easily outjumped and over powered. what confuses me more is we were 1 up with 10 men and surely 10 men can defend for the rest of the game, i mean come on its suppose to be AMc speciality. if we conceded 1 goal fair enough but to concede 2 and then make it so comfortable for wba is what annoys me. its like they just accepted weve lost o well. which pisses me right off. hutton, nzog, delph another story just cant be bothered with them sorry about the rant but this avfc team annoys the hell out of me and thats just the beginning

Only seen highlights so cant judge properly but yet again same people not perfoming. Hutton i know he still needs time but everytime a defender goes round (which seems to be alot) he just walks back as if to say i tried its your problem now but i know he still needs time. Next delph what happened to him he was supposed to be the next best thing but it looks like he isnt. Cm is a vital position and he needs to improve passing and productivity to keep it. I did read somewhere that someone thought he was more like a lb and would be hapy yo give him a game there as warnock is forever making vital mistakes. Clark, bannan and if it jenas must start for me. Yet another must win game next

Really pleased to see clark in the team hopefully he is still there next week and the 4-1 isnt put down just to clark. Way better defender than collins.

Im slowly getting used to this game ive had to drop down a difficulty level to professional and its now realistic first 7 games 2 wins and 5 draws but it does get so frustrating i score first then 2 mins later they will dribble round me and equalise, its just who out scores who. I use a 4-4-2 diamond formation and everywhere has pace the wing backs, forwards and wingers just to try and counter. corners and crosses are still ridiculous hard to defend for some reason half the time the defender wont even jump. really annoying just played wolves in the cup with my second string and o my god hennesey was playing like shilton. bent sorted that out

YES A WIN!!! Sounds like we played well. good to be going into the international break with a win. good to see bent get a goal. great for his confidence. How did nzogbia do when he came on??

agree if it was anybody but wigan next game he would start on the bench for me. there was a few times yesterday when he had space around him to do whatever he wanted and only 1 defender in front and i was expecting him to drive forward, dribble and pass the defender but instead he either stopped or ran straight into the defender. i think he will come good just its going to take a little bit longer than some of us hoped. 1 more game

lets face it the problem is the midfield there the reason our defence comes under so much pressure and the reason there is no attacking threat. Vs qpr when we had our good spell everyone in the midfield was nearly in the qpr box. now i know we want attacking football but thats suicidal. you need at least 1 midfielder staying just inside qpr's half for when the other team do break why doesnt this midfield like to tackle either? 1st half so much ball watching. they need to improve quickly. drop delph for jenas and soon nzog for bent

This is a must must must win game and to give a decent performance. Given Hutton, Collins, Dunne, Warnock Petrov, jenas, bannan nzogbia , bent, agbonlahor nzogbia is on his last chance for me if theres no performance his out the team. would like to see clark back in the first team to replace collins but doesnt look like that will happen.

dissapointed with a point in the end to draw in the 93rd minute with an og really winds me up. 1st half the less said about that the better. 2nd half was so much better for the first time we looked threatening but then not long after we scored we were back to the usual defending for the rest of the game. play like we did beginning of the second half and we will beat wigan nzogbia was shocking where's the tricks, the pace, so many times he was 1 on 1 with the defender and usually do a trick but just ran at him and lost the ball ireland was good going forward but defensively non existent delph sloppy touches and passes from him collins WTF was he doing for the og lets it bounce and then heads nowhere but to a qpr player so frustrating. he does all that hoofball and then the 1 time we want him to hoof it heads it nowhere

Sounds like mcleish knows the problems he said in his interview we were not crossing enough and as the players to express themselves. Now everytime mcleish has done an interview he says the right things and knows whats wrong but still every game its the same. Thats the worry

people say that boltons teams is quite good even with all those changes but come on the villa team is suppose to be good. we had out 1st team back five, gabby, petrov and the rest well there not exactly inexperienced. whats was all that mcleish was saying before hand about villa fans want to see attractive football and so do i and my team. what rubbish. im not against mcleish yet but he had better buck his ideas. 2 big games coming up

gutted, only glimmer of a cup run imo and were out already. i know booing is never good but think its the only way mcleish is going to know were not happy with this tripe.hopefully he will change for qpr but he wont we get our hopes up qpr and 2 mins in we will sit deep, conceed, and not attack. people used to say play bad and get the win or play well and have a mix of results? annoyingly were getting playing bad and losing. 2 massive games coming up

weird we struggle to attack so much when you have gabby, fonz, albie, bannan, ireland players who love to attack.keep petrov as DM and throw the rest forward. looks like Amc is scared to lose.
