    2 little things ive noticed recently that make me think mcliesh is due to leave. 1 he no longer talks about the summer rebuild and what happened to kello we was supposed to be signing him ages ago. I reckon everythings on hold till end of season and amc will leave. Hooray!!

    disappointing chris herd has worked so hard this year and within 30 seconds his reputation is down. collins seems to be a bad influence on the youngsters especially after last year as well and delph didnt do much wrong he just tried to hold herd back

    I totally agree. Herd has been solid all season. Some people say they dont really see him in the match but he does his job so well get the ball back and clear the danger. Just tells the story of the season that i think it should be defensive midfielder.

    Correct me if im wrong but how similar is our position to newcastles when they got relegated. Constant change of managers 1 manager had to quit after heart problems An owner that wasnt financially backing the team Fans thinking the club is to big to go down Players not pulling there weight that were on big wages ie given, owen, nzogbia, viduka, beye and the list goes on Its quite worrying when you look and compare. I wouldnt mind a season in the championship if we would be like newcastle now but that would never happen.

    Just read more of hlebs comments it just confirms are worst fears of he tells the players to hoof and run. Its also no coincidence if were not scoring from set plays if 'the manager is only there for 5 mins and then players dont see him. Drives me mad please hurry up and get him out of our club

    if qpr dont get any points today i cant see them overtaking us there remaining games are spurs, chelsea, man city and stoke. all of those teams need to win for different reasons except for stoke

    The mirror have tweeted that martinez will leave wigan this summer as his contract runs out at the end of the season and cant agree terms for him and his backroom staff. Hopefully its true and villa will try and get him again. Come on randy you know it makes sense.

    Usually id be dissapointed if we had taken the lead and drawn but today i'm so relieved we got the point, with those tactics we were never going to win but every point is vital at the moment. The other results went out way as well which is good and hopefully we can get a good result against stoke.

    if the unthinkable did happen i would be very worried for our future. players on big wages, our best players would leave and an owner with very little money. i could not see us been a newcastle and coming straight back up. relegation would not sort the problem, a change of manager and some fresh faces would.

    I really dont want mcleish here next season if he left it would be a massive boost for next season but if he was not going to be sacked then i would want the board to come out as soon as the season finishes and say he is staying. I really hope he goes though, a new manager would be so exciting for next season. Championship or not

    i'll admit im worried now. the results didnt go our way today but next week is a big week for the relegation fight. villa have liverpool who have lost to wigan and qpr in recent weeks so we should definitely be able to get a result there with clark, cuellar and hopefully nzog back. Then qpr have man utd and wigan have chelsea surely they wont get anything there hopefully

    5 points now between us and relegation and i cant see where we can get another point from at the moment. it very worrying and i really think were going down. the teams below us keep picking up points and we keep blowing chances like today to hold on to a draw.

    watching fulham against wolves and i know wolves arent that good but fulham look great. great passing and movement. If we dont get into the game quick next week i can only see a fulham win and even if we do it can only be a draw but we really really need the win.
