  1. MOYES MOYES MOYES MOYES!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE
  2. From the birmingham mail GARY McAllister has intimated that Stephen Ireland will be given a chance to rediscover his form and fitness at Villa. Newcastle are believed to be considering a permanent swoop for Ireland despite his lacklustre loan spell ending with an ankle injury. And the midfielder faces a difficult challenge winning over the Villa fans after comments criticising the city of Birmingham were attributed to him, although he said he was misquoted. But McAllister is convinced the former Manchester City star has the potential to succeed at Villa after returning for rehab yesterday afternoon. “It has been tough for Stephen, but he is a Villa player and our responsibility,” said McAllister. “Our guys will have a look at him and try and get him fit and get a programme for him because he has had two or three little niggles which have prevented him from getting fit. “If it’s not one thing it has been another. I think he has had problems with his groin, hamstring and his ankle. “There is no doubting he is a talented player but he needs to get fit.” McAllister joked that Ireland will have to be careful driving through Birmingham after quotes, he later denied, that the city was “c**p”. “He may have to change the route into Bodymoor, with blacked-out windows,” said McAllister, laughing. “No. I am sure he was misquoted. “He’s not had much luck. He is no doubt a talented player but he has to get fit before we see the real Stephen Ireland.” http://www.birminghammail.net/birmingham-sport/aston-villa-fc/aston-villa-news/2011/04/29/aston-villa-stephen-ireland-set-for-a-second-chance-at-villa-97319-28603104/
  3. well i just hope whatever happens it gets sorted soon. there are quite a few players contracts expiring so could get them free or cheap and we dont want to miss out on them cuz were faffing around with this situation.
  4. just seen moyes on MOTD2 and i would love him to be villas next manager. seems like he is a really nice bloke and when they played a clipshow it showed how animated he is and always shouting from the touchline. think he has done really well with what he has to work with at everton.
  5. where has GK said this will probably be the end of GH??
  6. to the tune of agadoo by black lace. Darren bent, bent, bent, he scores 1,2 and 3 Darren bent bent bent he is pure quality, from the left and the right he can score all through the night Darren bent bent bent his worth the money that we spent Or, (if you'll allow me): Darren bent, bent, bent, he scores 1,2 and 3, Darren bent bent bent he is pure quality, from the left, from the right, with his head and on the floor, Darren bent bent bent, worth his transfer fee and more! i like it any will do. very catchy
  7. to the tune of agadoo by black lace. Darren bent, bent, bent, he scores 1,2 and 3 Darren bent bent bent he is pure quality, from the left and the right he can score all through the night Darren bent bent bent his worth the money that we spent
  8. loving dazza B. he is amazing from the first till the last minute his running always trying to make something for himself or others.just shows what villa have truly been missing for the last 5 years. villa legend in the making.
  9. coyle and moyes are 1st choices but would be very happy with paul lambert someone who is young, fresh, for the future. hopefully kmac alongside him.
  10. Who really cares about nationality? I think it's ridiculous that there are all these points you could criticise Houllier on but instead go for his nationality. just mean i want someone who speaks with heart.thats all
  11. im sure houllier wont go yet but hopefully in the summer. would love to see a british manager back at villa. watching mcarthys interview its good to see a manager saying it straight instead of some french man mumbiling his way through.
  12. is it just me or does anyone find it really weird still that we have darren bent and now we believe we can score goals. 2-1 to villa very close i predict
  13. so 2 weeks until next game that probably means we will get about 3 injuries in training knowing our luck it will be bent, young and downing
  14. As I said in the other 5, we're not a top 5 side so we should be fine. Will Cuellar be back for this? not sure if cuellar will be back for this one. knowing our luck he wont be ready and with clark out as well its looking like another thrown together defence
  15. just watched the wolves v spurs game. wolves had massive holes in there defence and maybe we score a couple if were on form but going forward they just dont give up and there best at set pieces. villas worst headache. they have only won 1 away and drawn 2 which makes me think we should have this in the bag but with are weak defence and poor finishing and wolves determination. im not so sure anymore.another 2 weeks to rack my brain over this. great
  16. all i can say is houllier has 9 games to show what he can do. if they are a good 9 games then he gets another season bad 9 games or relegation then he has to go.
  17. looks like its done then on a loan. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_6712269,00.html
  18. birmingham have pulled out of keane deal after they dont think he is financialy worth it. im just waiting to hear that they bid for bent to
  19. according to SSN his in a local birmingham hotel waiting for sunderland to say he can talk to AVFC
  20. cant see how downing going to liverpool looks realistic as daglish was only saying yesterday he has NOT talked to the board about transfer targets. so how can he be linked.
  21. sounds like the board have said they are backing houllier.....at least for now. think it would have to be kmac to get the job if houllier did (when) leave. at least till the season ends. at least the players looked like they wanted to play for him. but it looks like houllier will be staying.
  22. anybody else think that maybe lerner is backing houllier through the january transfer window and then if things still havent picked up when houllier has got his players in after the next 5 games the houllier will be out and get the new manager in. well we cant get rid of him now otherwise no transfers can come in and a new manager wouldnt have time to get used to the players. just a therory
