I will still stand by what i said two days ago. We will not get get promoted, our squad and club need more work. Bring on next season!!

in addition to that, the BPL is a lot stronger than it was last season and it will continue to get stronger. We need to have something about us, whether its athleticism, set pieces.. Something that we excel in.

I reckon with our new scouting team that we have some targets abroad, some signings might surprise us. There is very good value for money abroad. Was it Steve Bruce that brought Antonio Valencia & Wilson Palacios to Wigan?

hmm but as i said we blew money in the past and it did not help us, in fact we got relegated. If we blow a load of money, the players again need to learn how to play with each other, understand tactics some wont have a full pre-season. Usually when a team is promoted they would keep their core and make 5-6 additions so they can be bedded in, we do not have a core, we have Amavi, Chester, maybe Baker and Kodjia. I just feel like we need time to clean this mess up. But i guess a lot of fans on here are very eager.

I think this club is lacking a lot to be a stable premier league club. There is only so much money can do. This club needs time, a philosophy and a foundation needs to be built here, we play as individuals not as a team. If we get promoted we will go back down. Middlesbrough have a wonderful chance of staying up, Karanka has built something in the four years he has been there, same with Dyche at Burnley. Time has been a contributing factor for both clubs.

If we make it to the playoffs and get promoted, i will be terrified for the season ahead in the BPL.

There are very VERY few players in our squad that i would want to see playing for us if we were ever promoted to the BPL. What would you guys prefer? Battling for survival in the BPL next season? Or going on a Championship title winning run next season? Me personally, i can deal with another season in the Championship. We need to slowly build this squad in Jan and the Summer and go for it for next season.

We will not get promoted this season. We have the highest draws in the league. We are not cohesive as a team. Squad still needs building. AFCON is going to hurt us.

Our club and squad still need rebuilding. I do think we have individual quality however we lack quality as a team to get promoted. Another year in the Championship is looking likely. Despite the great job Steve Bruce is doing, he will need another season to turn this around. The harsh reality is that we are a top half Championship football club.

A part of me wants us to wait a year before we get promoted. This squad is not ready for Premier League football.

I really like him as our manager. We are very solid at the back, he barks at our players when they are playing shit and he doesn't mind dropping players. For whatever reason he believes in Gabby, and tbf Gabby looks in better shape by each game but it's like he has forgotten how to play football? More work needs to be done if we are going to rely on him. Although we're organised defensively, we don't have an attacking sequence of play, i'm curious to know whether this is a weakness of the manager or our squad? Are we looking to get an attacking coach to help our attacking play? I have complete faith in him. I am now hoping that Brucey and Round already know what players to bring in that will make us dominant.

The backroom staff need to find some solution for him, because at the moment he does not fit in our system yet. Lets just hope he becomes the player that we want him to be in 2017.

Very impressed by his performance, i felt assured with him in goal. A commanding performance.

Very important player for us hopefully him and Chester can see off us all the way to the playoff finals.

McCormack is getting very frustrated with these players. I don't there is any chemistry between himself his teammates

He will be gone by the end of the season imo , and if anyone is to blame then i would blame the previous regime, but we should have tied him up last summer. For some fans to say he's not as good as previous youngsters at his age are chewing on some sour grapes. He will be a loss for us and we will come to regret this in a few years time. Lets just hope that Steve Round learns from this and has a proper structure in place for our youth players (i.e loan system ect) Ideally I would like to see our youth players have two years (50+ games) of experience before going into the first team. The players from our youth team are physically inept at this level. There has not been a personal development plan with our young players for years. RHM probably feels like he needs to go through a proper system to develop into a better player because our club as a whole is transitioning.

It will be interesting to see what players are brought into the club. Bruce likes to have some size and power in his midfield and i can see us making a couple of additions in that area.
