coda
I read most of one about Jack Kerouac (not an autobiography). I wouldn't recommend it as inspirational as it got quite depressing due to his alcoholism. I read a review of Schwarzenegger's book which said it was the most unpleasant celebrity memoir ever. mjmooney Posted September 16, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted September 16, 2013 Kerouac's "Lonesome Traveller" is pretty good (before he was an alky).
turnbull
Norman Wisdom's autibiog is pretty inspirational I'd say. Lemmy's is also, but in a different way.

Xela
Stephen Fry's autobiographies are a good read. Not inspirational but interesting. I think Tony would like them
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Never liked autobiographies/biographies. Letters can be good, personal essays too, but I'm not interested in someone's life story.

AVFCforever1991
Especially now that we know why his arms were so strong. I think it is terrible how people have treated him after winning seven Tour de France races while on drugs. When I was on drugs, I couldn't even find my bike.
villaguy
I think I'll have a read of the Schwarzenegger book, quite a colourful life. Also Sir Sugar. If you haven't read Booky Wooky is pretty captivating, Russell has a spell binding way of writing as well as speaking.
