Hi,

 

I get a search Ad box in the corner of every page on Villatalk for Chitika.It only started this morning so I am just wondering if everyone is getting the same AD or if I have spyware...

 

EDIT: It's there with Firefox & IE but not when I open the page with Comodo Dragon (Version of Chrome)

I've had the same, assumed it was something I had though. I'm using Chrome.

Opting out doesn't affect the ad being shown, just the tracking cookie, IINM.

didn't block it after I installed it

 

ok , about 10 minutes later Adblocker suddenly popped up a window and told me it was now live  ..and it seems to be working

Wow, those were horrible. I've found the setting and turned them off. I guess it might take a little while to take effect, but they should be gone shortly.

I'm now getting ads attached to some words on the forum. If I hover over the word an ad will pop up.

It's okay, I've cancelled the contract, they'll stop shortly.
