Marka Ragnos Posted May 4 VT Supporter Share Posted May 4 (edited) Can't seem to get enough of this guitar part this week. Love the simplicity and for me at least the fuzzy haunting twangy distant-dreams sound of it all. Edited May 4 by Marka Ragnos

Marka Ragnos Posted May 16 VT Supporter Share Posted May 16 A Warmoth strat in action. Pretty great live sound, eh? Makes me want to do a DIY parts-caster.

I think some of the really good kits are pretty much fool proof, but they seem prohibitively expensive, and so then you're kind of wondering, what's the point? Some of the best companies who make up these kids are in the UK, too. But I understand what you're saying. I still find pieces of that doomed partscaster of mine around the house sometimes.
veloman
Just out of interest ,and as a non guitarist, there were two companies 'round here that used to modify guitars: John Birch and John Diggins. i THOUGHT one specialised in Fenders and one in Gibsons and Diggins produced his own under JD guitars; believe geezer out of Slade had one. Guitarist I played with had a Gibson SG cherry red modified by him; swore it improved the action no end. Edited May 17 by veloman
mjmooney Posted May 19 VT Supporter Share Posted May 19 I bloody love electric 12 strings. Much as I covet a Rickenbacker, I have the same Danelectro as this guy - it plays and sounds great at a fraction of the cost of a Rick.
Xann
Really good instrument for a two piece.
osmark86
Some jungle/dnb I've been working on. Leans more on that old school PS1/90s vibe instead of that newer liquid style. Hope you guys enjoy!
