This is a player I certainly would be happy with and excited about. Just think we will have the spine of feyenoord in our team and they will gel well together with Vlaar, El Ahmadi and Guidetti. The Manchester Evening News says Guidetti has made it plain that he only wants to remain with the Blues if he gets a sniff of a first-team chance, but with Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko all ahead of him in the pecking order, that looks difficult. City would be looking for a big fee for the player after his exploits in Holland, with the bidding starting at £6.3m.
