The_Rev Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 The new iPad will be announced in a couple of weeks and on shelves by March. I'd sit tight, the golden rule with any Apple product is wait until the second generation and I cant see the iPad being any different. If it could run flash I would buy it on launch day, I think it would be awesome as a family computer type thing, some of the kids games on the App store are great fun and I like sitting down with The_Rev jr and playing them on my iPod touch, but not being able to play the thousands of flash games on the internet kills it. Yeh they're cool, and more useful than I first thought after having a play on one. But there is no NEED for an iPad. jim Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 I keep looking at the contract deals on 3,TK Maxx were also doing last week £100 cheaper than elsewhere and I must say I have been tempted but I will wait and see what the new one has to offer. Most of my browsing at home is done on my phone as I hate waiting for the laptop to boot up each time plus the Mrs is normally feeding a cow or sowing some seeds in Farm shite!
