Inheritance tax - give the rich a break - you can't really argue with that - why wont Cameron answer the questions on it?

So far Dimbelby looking the best of a bad bunch in terms of running the Britains got PM talent show

Clegg I don't support an amnesty

2 mins later he talks about his amnesty policy

strange

The other two did utterly wipe the floor with Cameron in the immigration question though.

Michael Howard-esque.

I think what he was saying was that he is not proposing the blanket amnesty which both Cameron and Gordo are rather disingenuously accusing him of doing.

If you look at the audiences reaction it is interesting. Cameron went way up when he said immigration has been too high.

where are you seeing the reaction thingy ?

And what Clegg is saying is generally right.

An amnesty isn't necessarily the way forward, but at least it's an actual proposal. Just saying that you're going to deport shadows doesn't help anyone.

Did Gordo just suggest that low interest rates were intentional?

So, the important thing to Gordo is to increase home ownership, to keep interest rates low to help reflate the property asset bubble and to discourage saving, is it?

Two questions before the exchange that I was referring to. It peaked when he said "there is too much immigration".

No idea what the bar did when he actually had to (but didn't) answer the questions he was asked, but I'd be surprised if stuttering and ignoring the same 'yes or no' question each of the six times he was asked it did him any favours.
