So... after a  late lie in because of the late one, one thing is clear..... Loma is still a phenom. I watched a 36 year old look and move 10 years younger last night(this morning) to dominate the shit out of Kambosos. Kambosos, never stopped before, got bodied and stopped in the 11th after a master class performance and sickening left hooks to the mid section. It was a seriously good performance tbh. Loma finally picked up the evasive IBF belt that has alluded him and was near punch perfect. I'd advise anyone to watch this fight if possible.

In other news Nina Hughes, Britain's female bantamweight WBA champ got absolutely robbed in the co main imo. Worse still they gave her the decision in the ring, she celebrated and they then went back and read out the scorecards again with Johnson then being given the decision. Quite disgusting tbh.

I wonder what drugs Loma is hiding. Moving like that at 36, hmmm?

There's no doubt they are all trying something these days.

Don't talk shit. He's always looked after himself. Not everyone takes drugs and peds ffs.

It’s more of a sad indictment on the sport itself when any stand-out performance is questioned. Right or wrong boxing has made its bed And these, these are the results of having to lie in it.

I didn't see anyone in here claiming Garcia was on peds after the Haney fight until he got popped for a positive test?! The only reason it's now been raised is because it's recently been the only topic discussed since the Garcia VADA test. That doesn't mean every man and his dog are on peds.

Lomachenko has never tested positive so therefore should be regarded as a clean fighter. He's also nothing to prove at this stage in his life and has always been a standout fighter throughout his career. It's not like his performance was unbelievable and above anything he's previously produced.

Not disputing any of the above, just making a general perception point

Didn't really expect it, but like @Follyfoot said, the others are giving the clean guys a bad name. Boxing is rife with drugs.

Add all sports to that claim... from many Olympics sports, other combat sports, you could literally pick out any dynamic sport and probably find ped or drug users, including football. It's not just a boxing thing. If anything the tests in Boxing are just more rigorous so more likely to catch out cheaters.

You can't label everyone who does well as a ped or drug cheat though, hence the comment on nobody coming out with that prior to the Garcia situation over the last few weeks.

We know this, football is rife with drugs, just not enough testing and when people have been caught, high profile, it's pushed under the carpet, the Premier League can't afford that to get out.

We are however diverting now from the original point, which was you questioning whether or not a consummate professional with a glittering career is a drug cheat. Especially when his biggest attribute and advantage has always been his skills as a fighter, never a physical advantage due to ped intake. If he was bullying opponents due to coming into the ring looking abnormal conditioning wise I could possibly understand the remark but Loma's stand out attributs have always been skills and he continually goes in the ring against much bigger fighters.

As good as Loma is, and he's very good, it was a foregone conclusion. Kambosos had one night of glory against a very ill Lopez. We seen his limitations, clearly, against Haney.

Loma, sadly, is on the decline. He may have one great performance left in him. Hopefully, that will be against Shakur, that's one for the "Purists".

Yeah..... you cannot argue he isn't on the downslide at 36 years old unfortunately. Still an amazing fighter though who should've probably have turned pro much much earlier, however, will always be regarded as one of the modern great fighters. To win world titles in 3 different weight divisions in 21 fights is very rare indeed although he never really had build up fights when turning pro. Just a class operator though imo.

What he did to Walters was something extraordinary. Never have I before, seen a fighter just sit on his stool and virtually say, " This is a fecking exercise in futility." I thought Gary Russell was really something special until he fought Lomo. That was an absolute masterclass in how to nullify "Speed." It's just a shame he had to go up in a weight class he just never had the body for.

Let's not forget, he was robbed blindly in that first World title fight.
