Demitri_C Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Maybe a mod can add a poll? Who do you want out of the four to come up? I hope to god it isn’t Reading after their major bottle job. I want Preston to come up. But I think reading will do it.
Qwpzxjor1 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Preston. Them in the Premiership would be bloody hilarious.
tomzep Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Preston for me, good form and will be on a huge hugh after nicking a spot
matty271 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I think preston deserve it as they have been sniffing around the playoffs for some time now but i think Sheffield united have enough to do it
LatestConfirmedIn Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Sheff Utd and Reading have had their turn. They didn't add much to the Premiership. So either of the other too. I think Coyle has done a great job
Wainy316 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I want a Preston v Burnley final. Both founder members with good histories. Would prefer Preston to win though, first ever champions, first ever double winners and all. Also Deepdale is home to the national football museum!
Gringo Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Well if burnley get the nod, there will another increase in arrests near grounds next year. Burnley vs blackburn and vs stoke could in particular be quite naughty and the games against citeh and manure will be well policed as well.
The_Rev Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Burnley for me. Though I would like a Burnley vs Preston final, mostly for the reasons Wainy316 said, plus I like to see new teams in the Premier League. Burnley edge it because I think they were unlucky not to get to the league cup final this season, the away goals not counting until the end of extra time rule was bullshit.
kingphil Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Yeap, Preston for me as well. Don't want another team that plays in Claret & Blue joining the Premiership
Qwpzxjor1 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Sheffield Utd vs West Ham could be interesting next year though...
MR.Smalljob Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Burnley or Preston for me.. next year would i like to see Leeds,Ipswich,Nottingham f back in the best league
The_Rev Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Its not going to happen though, is it? Leeds might win the playoffs, but the only way they will be getting out of the Championship is by going back down.
MR.Smalljob Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Leeds! WTF? Why on earth would you want that? Just for fun :-)
BOF Posted May 8, 2009 Moderator Posted May 8, 2009 I voted Burnley simply because it'd be nice to have some more C&B in the Premier League Apart from them I'd say Reading as I like Coppell. So I guess my winner should be coming from the one semi..
kingphil Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Apart from them I'd say Reading as I like Coppell I like Coppell as well, but I read the other week that no matter what happens (i.e. if Reading gain promotion), he is resigning as manager. If he would still be in charge next season, then Reading would have got my vote
villahero Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Preston, with our away fixture with them around this time next year so we can all invade Blackpool ...( and demolish it when were finished )
Qwpzxjor1 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 we can all invade Blackpool ...( and demolish it when were finished I doubt anyone would notice, really...
