Last night's results + Leicester draw updated. Getting a bit of a traffic jam around 16th place in the table now. Lots of teams within a few points of each other for the final playoff spot.

Our trip to Newcastle's Northumberland FA ground has moved from 29th March to 29th April, making it the final game of the league campaign. Probably owing to our progress in the Premier League Cup. Also means we don't play in the league again now until Friday April 5th home to Chelsea. Our next game in all competitions will be home to Spurs in the PL Cup on Tuesday April 2nd kicking off, as usual, at 7pm.

In the far right column is the league position of our remaining opponents in the league. Two tricky fixtures followed by some do or die games. I guess it depends largely on who we use as well, and on how young they are :P

The PL cup game this evening. We are 1 nil down at half time. They have had 4 shots against our 3 .

No coverage anywhere. Their centreback is called DJ Cassanova though which is pretty cool

It was a good game, you can see why Spurs are top, they've got some talented players and a good balance to the side. I thought both fullbacks played really well for us and Kaden Young looked dangerous, there was a terrific ball from Jamal-Jimoh for his goal and we weren't in any way overwhelmed. The third goal puts a bit of an unnecessary sheen to it, it was fairly even, but no complaints, we tired and they took their chances.

Brian Little is a brilliant second commentator - there's no clowning or trying to show you how funny he is - just quiet, intelligent comments on the game.

He's just classy.

2-0 Chelsea - goal kick straight to the striker.

They look to have the better of our centrebacks.

Back four aren't getting a lot of protection and the three attacking players behind Moore aren't getting any of the ball - we're a little light in the middle for me.

Ref has allowed Chelsea to get away with a fair bit - Kellyman just got frustrated having been fouled and launched himself into one - yellow card, but he'll need to watch that temper as he develops.

We finished the half strongly but go in two behind - Chelsea are just playing error free football with a couple of very bright quick forwards, simple and effective - we made too many mistakes in the middle of the park.

Dujuan Richards who scored both Chelsea goals is from Craig Butler's academy, only eighteen but already has ten caps for Jamaica. I think he's been the main difference between the two teams

3-0 - a game that shows the value of a good striker and the importance of not making mistakes.

We've been better in the second half, three subs at half time and Bogarde into midfield has made us a bit more solid and we've created chances - but we look a little blunt.
