Cizzler
Do you know why Karl Darlow was released from our academy, Andy? (or anyone that has been following them for a while!) Obviously a talented lad, as he now first choice for Forest at the age of 22. Edited August 9, 2013 by Cizzler
Rob182
We had to let him go because his name was too much like Ken Barlow.
kevangrealish
Andy who scored do you know ? Edited August 9, 2013 by kevangrealish
AndyClarke
He was released when he was 16 so they presumably didn't think he was better than we had at u18 level. There are so many reasons for players getting released and a lot can change in 6 years.
AndyClarke
No Kev, waiting to find out, feel free to beat me to it! Pretty sure RHM didn't score as he hasn't mentioned it.
AndyClarke
Beat Chelsea 2-0. Tottenham and Man Utd tomorrow. RHM came off the bench to score against Chelsea, Courtney Wildin scored as did Danny O'Brien and Jerell Sellars. mikeyp102
Didn't realise the structure of the league had changed again. Hopefully we can challenge this yr.. Typical mail reporting in that article, stating how Chelsea got to the finals but failed to mention we won next gen Edited August 9, 2013 by mikeyp102
AndyClarke
What a rubbish article that is, MacDonald has been gone over a year so his inclusion in the article isn't necessary. Decent choice of players, Lingard and McEvoy questionable, cheap Gareth Bale comparison and obligatory Man Utd inclusion. HalfTimePost
McAvoy is only mentioned because of the Gareth Bale thing. I dont think he's even one of the top prospects coming through at Spurs.
AndyClarke
Right, the results today were 3-1 against Arsenal and 2-0 against Chelsea. Jerell Sellars scored against Arsenal and RHM scored against Chelsea, the other scorers were Danny O'Brien, Courtney Wildin and Jordan Lyden. AndyClarke
Calder is a big lad, which undoubtedly helps at this age group.
