IKWIL is most probably my least favourite song

Atm Seven Stones

I couldn't think of a better title that others might 'get'.

(And it's one of the few tracks by them that I DO like...)

I have a few of her albums...her cover of Tumbling Dice is great.

Linda covered a number of Karla Bonoff songs (they were friends and sang backings in a few west coast bands).

Yes LR is a jeanscreamer in the boatrace department but Karla has a voice (and songs) to die for.

Vocals - Chino Moreno

Guitar - Takaakira Goto

Bass - Tom Jenkinson

Drums - Adam Betts

So like Palms but swap the harsher metal riffs for Mono-esque builds and soundscapes and replace the rhythm section with Shobaleader One.

As for Genesis, I like 'em. I have all the gabriel era lps on vinyl except the first one . Not overly keen on them after that apart from the self-titled LP from 1983 which is a stormer "Home By The Sea" is superb)

If „someone to lay down beside me“ is one of them KB version is killer.

Karla‘s 1st album has some great songs on it (some naff) but her 2nd „Restless Nights“ & 3rd „Wild Heart of the Young“ are incredible albums.

Songs & voice-wise as expressive as Rickie Lee Jones „I“ & „Pirates“ (different styles)

Now Genesis is my world - My favourite Band of all time.

Ozzy-era Sabbath as second favourite band (I‘m an original headbanger too)

Genesis and sabbath are trillions of years apart musically. dont mind a bit of prog, but could never get into genesis. My grandad has all their albums on vinyl(Peter Gabriel years)

I‘m very open to music genres, I love many styles of music, and going through the era‘s I love and also like to live in the mood of different styles. So my tastes range from Classical to Motown/R&B, any Rock (from Sabbath to Slipknot) Soul, Reggae, Pop from Beat-pop of the 60’s to modern style trance/techno. I guess I can appreciate anything good that comes from the gut.

Classic Rock set up wise I would love to see what this all sounded like.

Drums: Ginger Baker

Bass: John Entwistle

Rhythm: Neil Young

Lead: Jimi Hendrix

Vocals: Jim Morrison

That's a great lineup. I actually think that could of worked.

I don't thing Neil Young would have worked in that band. Swap him for Keith Richards.

I almost threw Zappa in there, I think he'd compliment the rest well. I just wanted the contrast. A little bit of wrong with all that right :)
