I think Lerner is done with the club. We will have to stand on our own two feet so to speak. No more money from the owner and the books will be balanced so that at some point a buyer might be tempted. Sadly he has charged Hollis & Fox with running the club, neither have an ounce of real football knowledge so Hollis will balance the numbers and Fox will try to reclaim the revenue his decisions in the last 12 months have lost the club. If Garde goes I wouldn't want either of them within a million miles of appointing the next manager. We either come straight back up or we stay down until Lerner goes.

I do think Remi Garde is very much like Wenger and will have us play in a certain style, now if that style is what we are seeing now will he be able to make us have a more attacking intent and goal threat with the players he wanted to bring in. That is the reason at this point that I am not bothered if he stays or goes.

I dont think he will walk but I do think he will be looking for the exit and if someone can offer him a job he will do what he needs to do to take it.

If we get one or two loan signings in and manage to stay up by the skin of our teeth does anybody else share the opinion that Hollis would only sanction a NET spend similar to this summer?

Ayew doesn't play close enough to the other striker so they are both isolated. How many more goals will Ayew score in our current system 4, 5 maybe. Who else will score? Grey & Little, Withe & Shaw, Savo and Yorke (well almost).

I buy (sic) the fact that its difficult to get players to move to us as transfers because of our current plight, but surely loan players wouldnt view it as such a huge obstacle as they would be back to their club at the season end and if they have performed well would be back in the shop window!

So to keep the squad together they have built in relegation clauses into their contracts........................................yep that will definitely work.

The one thing I think most fans assumed is that being American he would be able to market the shit out of the club........................how wrong we were.

If Lerner wants to get rid of the club because he has zero interest in running it why doesnt he refloat it on the stock exchange at a price he could get his money back and be done with it. I assume a lot of fans would like to be shareholders again in the club.

Reading the full transcript he states we spent £60 million pounds this summer (not NET obviously) but I will allow him that spin but he then states we spent £60 million the previous season................really? Apart from the 5 Freebies we signed Cissokho for £2m, Sanchez £4.7m & Gil £3.2m, Bowery went for £250k and Ahmadi £700k. I make that less than £9m not £60m

Is it tonight that Hollis & Fox are at a fans meeting but because of a prior appointment can only be there for 45 minutes? If so I commend both of them for moving their diaries around so they can attend this evening if only for a short time and really shows how highly both men regard our fanbase! or The want to limit the amount of difficult questions they are asked for which they will have no useful answers. Wonder how much spin and bullshit they will spout?

with £110,000,000 of players going with no return skews the figures. Had we got a 50% return on those players it would have put the spend at around £10,000,000 a season which isnt enough.

How about a NET spend of £168,150,000 since 2006/7 to end up with the squad we have now.

Point taken. Whats your view on the 16 players who we signed for about £110,000,000 that left for absolutely zero return. Can you show me any other club in the league who have wasted so much money and allowed 16 players to leave for nothing. I will see what the total in & out figures come to.

7 shots on target, 4 off target are what the stats show, but I didnt go so cannot comment how 11 shots equates to loads. We may well have had more threat that day. 18 goals in 22 league games, the lowest in the league. The trouble is once you concede you have to score 2 to win the game and whether its players (probably) or formations (maybe) or tactics (maybe) we cannot do that which is why Garde has had so many draws. Our 2 league wins have been 1-0.

According to the Barclays website 7 shots on target with 4 off-target in the Watford game

It doesnt have to be two big men which is why I said 2 of the 3. The Watford game we scored 2 goals and one of those was from Richards (CD) with Ayew scoring in the 89th minute, not sure of the number of shots on target though.
