  1. Old man comes back with stolen IPhone. 150% Genuine.
  2. In no way should we be looking to sell Emi. Sunday evening, Aston Villa other than the World Cup winners was probably one of the most mentioned football clubs in the world. Okay, I made that up but it is possible. This obscure player at Arseholenal has propelled himself to star status over the last 18 months for us and his Country. Probably bringing more eyes on the club than Grealish or Coutinho with his exploits. What better way for a club in our position to send a message that we are on the up by doing everything to hold on to such a player. I see Emi as pretty un- upgradeable at the moment, we need to utilise that to bring in more winners, not show everyone that as soon as a player is successful, we sell. That isn't going to get the club where we all want to be. Emery needs the best players we can get moving forward. Emi sits perfectly in this category. He's the epitome of the player I want wearing the Villa shirt. A perfect fit.
  3. I don't think Belarus forces would get over the border before getting beat back. Getting to Chernobyl would pure fantasy. I think the coup is the most likely outcome tbh.
  4. I think the moment the fat waiter orders troops into conflict a coup will begin to become reality. Belarus doesn't have the numbers, never mind the equipment to impact this conflict for the better. The Belarus border is not only mined to the tits but Ukrainians are heavily fortified now. It would be a massacre.
  5. He really is a dickhead. I hope he gets pulled into this just to get ousted in Belarus. With an 11% approval of the war in Belarus it won't take much for the population to rise against him. What a pathetic creature.
  6. Like Emi's going to be looking for a cuddle from a bald soft belly type.. You wish, hahaha.
  7. Lange's doing his job. Our squad is a million miles away from where it was 3 years ago, even with some bad man management over the last 12 months. Hopefully now Emery is helping make the decisions those that have under performed will improve and we now tweak the squad by further upgrading the starting 11. We aren't far away from where we need to be imo. The improvement needs to happen on the pitch technically and tactically as much as on the transfer front.
  8. Quite right. Shit talking goes on in all sports. Goes on in every walk of life, from banter on a message board to taking the piss on the pitch, on a park pitch, on a professional pitch, it doesn't matter. Throwing the ball away in football happens in every game, throw ins and freekicks being a perfect example of this. Yet in this instance it's a problem. Those moaning need to seriously get a grip.
  9. So his comments regarding Emi was the other 1% when he gets it wrong and talks shit. Excellent. If it was cheating, or outside of the laws of the game, he'd have been reprimanded. As it is, shithousery, unsportsmanlike conduct or whatever people want to call it, is acceptable. Diving is cheating unless your a keeper yet everyone accepts it's part of the game. Nothing Emi did broke the rules of the game.
  10. Good news... I heard they had broken into the City only 3 days ago with heavy street skirmishes taking place. I heard they'd been pushed out the last 48 hours or so, but not that far. Interestingly, the Russians are trying to encircle the City as well but aren't having much luck with that either.
  11. Why you still bitching about Emi Tom?? You've taken a random comment from a nobody and used it as some sort of stick to beat him with. You've been going at it quite a while now, or at least since yesterday. I mean even your comment about, "....very good for where we are at". I hate to break it to you but he is in the top 10 rated keepers world wide. Fortunately for us, as long as he wants to stay he'll be more than sufficient for where we are at. With our luck with goalkeepers that last 15 years thank the lord we actually have a unbelievably top keeper, who like most top keepers happens to be as whacky as f***. We are bloody lucky to have him you should enjoy it.
  12. Boo hoo. Goalkeepers have been doing it for years. Players do it week in and week out from grassroots to the top level. It's called trying to undermine and intimidate your opponents.
  13. I bet that after the last 18 months, winning the Copa America and the World Cup, forever to be linked with Messi, he won't give a shit about peoples opinion on his behaviour outside of Argentina. And rightly so imo. He's not a nasty individual, quite the contrary, he's a heart on the sleeve bloke, 150% all the time individual. The guy you want next to you in the trenches, when things are shit. He's writing his name down in history while the haters are going to hate. It's quite crazy that in a period of turmoil and suffering around the globe that people want to pull his behaviour as some sort of punishable crime. Him along with that Argentinian squad have just injected happiness and hope into an entire nation of over 46m. He's become a hero to millions and Aston Villa FC helped him get there. Legend.
  14. We need a LF with pace imo. I think much of our attack is lopsided and predominantly right sided much of the time. I could be wrong but the wide left position has been particularly weak since JG's departure.
  15. Why? You can clearly see the trophy slip from his hands at the same time his teeth nearly fall out. Thankfully his reactions and his massive balls saved the trophy hitting his foot or he may have been out with a metatarsal injury for quite some time. I thought this was obvious tbh. People always thinking the worst though.
  16. So there is a traitor amongst the ranks. Stay vigilant peeps.
  17. I'd like to see an Emi flag. A really big one with his picture, some huge hands and the caption. "I will eat you"
  18. Seems he's always been a shithouse. Our loveable shithouse. It's obviously what has aided him to get to this moment in his life and the promised land in his profession. Quite ironic that he was trolling Coutinho all them years ago and eventually became team mates. One became the star early and the other much later.
  19. Emi to Spurs.... Hahahahaha.... Since he's been with us.... winning the Copa America and if he wins the WC tomorrow then we can safely say he'll never surpass that achievement anywhere. There is only one club that could guarantee him a CL medal at club level and it isn't in the UK. Our club will hold even more of a special connection for him if he picks up that winners medal tomorrow imo. The place where his career finally lifted off and all his dreams came true. The club that gave him the platform to go down in Argentinian history. It maybe the Messi v Mbappe final tomorrow but non of it would have been possible without Aston Villa's Emi Martinez. He isn't going anywhere.
  20. When your RB finishes better than your CF
  21. Great piece in the Washington Post and well worth a read. A real in depth on the strength, deployment and following decimation of one of Russia's Elite Brigades in the conflict. The war in Ukraine has decimated a once feared Russian brigade - The Washington Post
  22. I think we can all safely say that had Russia been able to take over Ukraine they'd have been under a similar yoke to those in East Germany before the wall came down. Imagine been faced with that, death of your family and living under such a savage regime. It's like the Ukrainians made the right decision to fight back. I think a lot of people haven't thought of what it would be like for Ukraine had they not put up a struggle.
  23. Another genius throughout the 90's What a player Roberto was..
